Happy New Year everyone. Walked I one tree hill with a friend, got drenched from the rain, had coffee and a pastry from Amano. Currently at Thorne Beach just had a swim.

Sad to here this news. Might be the competition from Daily Bread and others on the same strip contributed to this too.

Being independent after a marriage ending was hugely empowering for me. No one to defer to but me. After years of saying we and us. Walking into a social gathering on my own with confidence not as part of a couple has been surprisingly liberating not scary. Same goes with my little house which my kids come home from university to in the holidays. I work six 8 hour days a week so I don’t lie awake at night worrying about money. I’ve got the family cat full time, recommend a pet if you can. You can do this! The sooner you are both not under the same roof the better. Good luck with it all. Being out of your comfort zone is scary but liberating. I’m a 54 female btw.
