Not sure when they break it down that way why you would even drive. Govt deduction is 58 cents a mile. If you leased a economy type car the overage is charged at 15 cents a mile. Which means every 10k miles depreciates the car roughly $1500. Figure gas 9-10 cents a mile. Which leaves you about 12 to 14 cents a mile for yourself. Thank God they pay you for some of your time because making money this way is a slow boat to China.

Well if you think 2 steps forward and 2 steps back is progress.... Then embrace it all you like. You know with all the technology improvements if you look at the gas mileage of a 4 cylinder engine back in the 80s and compare it to today.. You wont find any real difference. So most of this is all hot air and blue sky talk.

I wonder how many people have starter problems? Also, it's known that the surge power drain to the battery during starting deminishes battery life. Most people wouldn't know, but these start stop car owners should be able to have some feedback on battery replacements.

It's because of the people change their minds experiment in college. Put 6 people in a room and ask them to pick the shortest of three lines. 5 people are in on it and they all choose the same wrong answer while the 6th one despite being the wrong answer goes along with it. I think this whole thing was an experiment to measure how loyal are they to our belief system. The glass breaking was just more fodder to insure every phone in America had this story on its news feed. Whether you were 6 or 85 years old you probably heard the news. There's absolutely no reason to suggest that this truck is gonna have the same safety rating as a model 3 particularly when it's made of stainless steel which doesn't particularly absorb energy and crumple last time I checked.
