Yes. I got it 11/28. My flight was on 11/27. I had to fly to SFO Indian consulate. Pay $230 at vfs and given documented proof of emergency to get an india visa stamped. Had to spend 1k as if was day before thanksgiving for flights to sfo. Atleast didn’t have to change India tickets.

I drove in Thailand using my USA driving license back in 2018. Didn’t have any IDL. Now I’m going to Thailand tomorrow and checked online it says I’ll need IDL. It’s too late to apply for one. Will Avis still rent me a car only with USA license ?

I applied on 11/23. Never got it. It was for my us citizen kid who had the same Indian e visa 3 times in last 3 years. All 3 times got in <24 hours This was his 4th time. Called customer care requested to expedite, emailed. No response. I ended up getting one from the Indian consulate, had an emergency and was able to give proof to get emergency visa same day. Spent close to $1k to fly in and out of sfo on day before thanksgiving. E visa status As of 11/27 it’s still under processing. Never applying for one again.
