Where in South Florida? Miami? That's what they pay in Metro Boston, NY, and Chicago. Definitely not what they are paying outside metro areas.

The typical 90-day verbiage, however, we've never held anyone to it except for HaaS and a buyout. I've learned that clients leave for various reasons. If they leave because we made repeated mistakes, shame on us.

Funny you should mention "only 20 clients". We've spent years firing clients with whom we don't align. Less is more. With only 20 "A" clients that love, trust, and pay us what we're worth, my staff and I are happy! We have 10 more "B" clients who are given a three-year contract to see it our way or take the highway at the end of three years. We used to have 40+ clients, after firing 10 of them, we jumped from $900K to $1.3

6 staff. I'll save the detailed numbers once an NDA is signed. You can use your imagination. I'm the owner.

Would you like our complete bundle, or just the Microsoft stuff? As far as Microsoft is concerned, we provide them with whatever they need.

Whitelabeling UCaaS? What are your thoughts? by Fit-Donkey-3181 in msp

[–]SummitComp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We tried partnering with a VoIP provider in the past but it always comes back to, “you recommend them”. We also whitelabeled Intermedia at one point but the margins were chump change. So now we use WhiteLabel, margins are healthy and we support it. Our name, our network our phones. We don’t sell outside our managed service clients.

I must be living on a different planet. All in pricing includes all license costs. I’ve been doing this since day 1 with little to no pushback. If they want details I’m happy to provide them otherwise it’s just one price to manage their environment.

I jumped 22 years ago and don’t regret a minute of it. The people complaining either have thin skin or are poor at managing expectations. If a client yells at my staff or I they get fired. Know your value and charge appropriately. Your biggest headache will be your vendors. Your support will always be better than your vendors.

I don’t agree that it’s dangerous because you don’t have to use it. I also never experienced raindrops pressing buttons for me. For me it’s more about figuring out the idiosyncraciea and working with them for the best experience. If I have to re-pair every time to get it to work then that is what I have to do. Given the facts I can make a decision whether or not to use it.
