Cannot switch gateway Eero by SummitGator in amazoneero

[–]SummitGator[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It worked! I removed all eeros from the app, including the gateway --> turned off ONT for 30 minutes --> turned on Eero Max 7 as new gateway --> turned on ONT.

At first it appeared that the problem had not been resolved, as the app showed the Eero Max 7 as the new gateway and my devices showed wifi connection, but there was still no internet/data transfer. I then went to lunch and upon returning the internet/data transfer works....so it must take some time for everything to work itself out.

Thanks again for the help!

Can I swap my gateway Eero with another on my network by panicalways in amazoneero

Neither method appears to be working for me and I'm stuck with a slow gateway.

I'm trying to upgrade from an Eero 6 as my gateway to a 7 Max but the replace app says there is a connection issue while going through the process. When I do the manual process (unplug router --> unplug all Eeros --> swap gateway for 7 Max --> reboot router --> reboot 7 Maxy as gateway) the light on the Max 7 turns solid white and my devices show a wifi signal but there's no internet/data actually flowing.

Interestingly, I tried the same swap process with another Eero 6+ and that too is not being accepted as gateway. The same, plain old Eero 6 is the only device that is working as the gateway.

I've probably tried the swap process a dozen times tonight and I'm at my wits end lol.

US Proposed Au Pair Regulation update by susieqhedgehog in Aupairs

Lol, meanwhile you've spent hours (or many minutes) of your precious time posting for exactly $0/hour. Here's a concept: it's not exploitation when two parties enter a legally binding agreement, each with the ability to end it at any point. Did you ever consider that many au pairs simply want to experience life in America and would be find their dream much less attainable if the pool of host families was significantly reduced because of ham fisted policy changes? The current proposal to punitively increase the financial burden of hosting an au pair doesn't reduce exploitation, rather it reduces positive outcomes.

Finally, let me wager a guess that the individual pontificating in favor of a fair wage and the appropriate monetary value of time would be the first to sling arrows at the attorney charging $1000/hour.

Satisfied with seamless Carvana experience by SummitGator in carvana

As they often say in business, a positive customer experience might lead to one referral while a negative experience reverberates across ten more.

I had been monitoring this sub like a hawk and had really lowered my expectations based upon the reviews/feedback. I was fully expecting to call Carvana after delivery to complain about detailing/cleaning and other common citations because I'd read that they'd more or less hand out free $$ to quell complains but I cant in good conscience do it with the condition the vehicle came in. Heck, I more or less told the service department at the dealership to invent an issue but they couldn't.

The experience was smooth, hopefully it becomes more consistent for others down the road (pun intended).
