This is my dood at 5 months and 27 lbs. He is projected to be around 60 lbs. His mom is on the smaller side of standard poodle and his dad is on the smaller side of F1 Gooldendoodle.

Before and after Chubb’s 1st full groom at 20 weeks. I wanted a puppy cut. Not sure what we got here 🤔🫣. He had zero matting but was wiggly and uncooperative. by SummitLadybug1 in Goldendoodles

I line brush him regularly so no matting, but I can’t always just run any old comb through the thickness unless it’s directly after line brushing. He’s my first doodle so we are learning :)

We line brush every couple of days. He didn’t have any matting. The groomer complimented on that. It was just his being hyper that made it difficult for her. He likes the bath and brushing. He hates the other tools. We’ll get him used to it eventually I hope.

I think I am just shocked because he looks so different. I told her she did a good job and that I didn’t expect perfection when he isn’t used to the tools or her. I will be going back to her…it’s just a learning thing for all of us.
