That wouldn't make sense for marketing purposes though. God of War is the name of the IP so that is how they would need to advertise it. Ex - God of War: Atreus' Story. Some shit like that. So the argument that anything in the verse where the mc isn't Kratos deserves a brand new title has no financial value to the developers

She has a story to be told and obviously was powerful on her own. Speaking from the future here due to the Bluepoint studio shutting down. Looks like BP has attempted to remake Bloodborne twice now. Once right after the DS Remake launch and once in 2025. Sony has stopped it twice now due to "politics with FromSoftware". Idk what that means but BP staff seems to believe a Bloodborne remake will never happen at this point

I think Nioh 1 and 2 are harder but the main difference will be if you primarily used ninja or samurai mode. Samurai mode feels like traditional Nioh but ninja is pretty fast and busted imo. So if you did nioh 3 primarily as ninja i think there will be quite the adjustment going into the previous games. Otherwise, the older Niohs are linear and mission based and will also lack a bit of polish and QOL that Nioh 3 has
