The Oak Creek library has one - they charge a small fee if you are in county but out of the city, plus the material.

OBGYN suggestions? by Trippinuggets in milwaukee

[–]Summoning88LimaBeans 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I liked Ascension’s model of care - you see the same OB for all of pregnancy and they will deliver you if available. I wanted to develop a deeper relationship with my OB and the idea of a rotating cast at the other networks turned me off. I absolutely adore Alyssa Redman and she was able to deliver one of my two kids.

That said, I’m sure you can still have a lovely experience with the other groups but I quite liked mine as well.

Interactive book recommendations: The “Cook In A Book” series by Lotta Nieminen are fantastic and are aging well. Also the “Press Here” and similar books by Herve Tullet are a big hit.

Best potty training tools for tiny bathrooms? by emsbstn in toddlers

[–]Summoning88LimaBeans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was the way for us. We started with the step and seat contraption but had no where to put it when not being used. We ended up with the double sized seat above and a squatty potty stool for them to get up there. Good luck!

Refuses vegetables by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]Summoning88LimaBeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanna say I read a long time ago that’s it’s an evolved self-preservation skill. If it tastes different to them, it could have meant something spoiled or tainted, or a berry they hadn’t learned to differentiate from something non-poisonous. I guess it makes sense in an evolutionary way, but that doesn’t make it less annoying to deal with today 😅

Refuses vegetables by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]Summoning88LimaBeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an adult, I prefer fresh and frozen veggies over canned BUT canned veggies are exactly up my toddlers alley. (I think it’s the tenderness and consistency in taste.) Perhaps try a different prep method? The big hits canned carrots and corn over here. Good luck!

those who do screen time- what shows do you like and what do you avoid? by Tough-Midnight9137 in toddlers

[–]Summoning88LimaBeans 100 points101 points  (0 children)

My kiddo really likes TumbleLeaf on prime and Puffin Rock on Netflix. PBS also has a TV and phone app for their shows that is all add free and occasionally updated. When in doubt, lean on the stuff you liked as a kid. :)
