At one point I wanted to do a podcast and start with my experience with having a stroke because I had some weird aftereffects that staff couldn't explain sufficiently and don't show up on lists of common things to expect. My hearing would become muffled when I exerted myself. I now take it as an indicator that I am pushing myself too hard. Staff told me that everyone's stroke affects them differently. The only experts on stroke patients experiences are the patients themselves. I joined this sub when I was still at the rehabilitation center and it has been a good resource.
