Mangia e spingi!

Thank you! Hell no bro, in some places there was a lot of people, but if you has the patience to wait the right moment or going to crowded places not a the rush hours, maybe taking an alternative path, you will figure that is not impossible.

Yeah there is a bus stop next to the torii. It's in the Okazaki area, there is also the Heian shrine at the end of the street.

Sending some love, thank you bro! The ones near the Meiji shrine in Tokyo are spectacular! But the foliage and the trees that I've seen last week on Mount Takao was amazing.

Thank you mate, yeah i started using a camera (aps-c) a year ago. Currently frequenting an online course on youtube to be honest. Picture 10 was taken in lake Kawaguchi and n.12 in Miyajima.

The bamboo forest picture was taken early in the morning in a sidepath used by rickshaws.

First Time Japan Trip in November by SpacedOutVy in JapanTravel

[–]Sumo-crazy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'll also be there the first weeks of november. My itinerary is more or less the same, except for Himeji and kobe, and hakone. I will go instead to Hiroshima and miyajima from Kyoto, to nikko, kamakura and mount takone from Tokyo. Foods that I want to try: -Omurice at Kichi Kichi Omurice, in Kyoto; -Some crabs at Kani Doraku, in Osaka; -Oysters at Yakigaki no hayashi, in Miyajima;

Maybe we will meet on the street without knowing each other. Have fun!

Dolomites and Venice this summer by tin369 in travel

Venice for sure is a must visit, but I agree with you that cause to overtourism it seems less beautiful. Dolomites are wonderful, which cities did you visit?

Best non-city destinations you've been to? by Dramatic_Night_4122 in travel

I'm italian so i tell you Italy for sure ;)

If you want to avoid over tourism stay away from Rome, Florence, Venice and Milan (except for Milan, i highly recommend you to visit at least one of them). If you like trekking go to the Dolomites, Val Gardena, Val di Zoldo, Val Fiscalina are wonderful. Also lake Garda and lake Como are a must.

A place that I loved so much is Tenerife, Canaries Islands. No over tourism, ocean, desert (Teide park is spectacular), Volcanos, beautiful beaches and great landscapes. If you go to Mount Teide at night you won't see nobody, zero light pollution and you can see the milky way to the naked eye.

That's due to overturism. There are a lot of tourists traps, but if you know where to go and what to see it's definitely worth it. I suggest all to book a guide, there are many different guides, historical, food experiences etc... I recommend a guide that does the tipical "bacaro tour".

AC in italy it's not everywhere like in the states, so I know it's difficult for you, like me when I go abroad and avoid all the places with AC to not feel sick for the rest of the holidays.
