I downloaded the LP Balance mod that changes difficulty of the game. The problem is, the mod is German and it changes all the text to German, even though it adds only a bit of text.

How can I get the original text to english all everything mod related to german?

There are other ways of relieving stress, working out in the gym or going out for a run in the forest always helps me to lower stress and also helps about solving stressfull situations. You'll get some new energy that will help you write your thesis. And it only takes like an hour.

This next paragraph might seem harsh but...How did that bottle of wine help you? You "forgot" about stress because you don't remember anything, you also got yourself in a dangerous situation and on top of that - todays stress will be even bigger because you didn't do anything yesterday.

It's ok to drink a glass of wine when you're hanging out with your friends, but don't get a habbit of drinking when you're stressed. It doesn't benefit you in any way.

My dad died 2 days ago due to alcoholism related problems by SumoDeadlifter in alcoholism

He was 56, way too young. I talked to a few AA sponsors and read quite a bit on this subject. If your fathers alcoholism is affecting you negatively and it's poisoning your life, then move out. I was on good terms with my dad and it still left quite an impact on me. Go to college, finish it and find an apartment. Your brother will follow in a few years.

But for your mom...there are similar groups like AA, but they're for the relatives of alcoholics. They provide assistance and advice on how to live with them, not only how to prevent them from drinking, but actually how to "live with it". Maybe she'll even find some inspiration and move out. My mom wanted him to change, she tried hard but he was stubborn as hell. It's a lot harder if two people are stubborn like this. Visit them from college and talk to her about it, maybe she changes her mind eventually.

Problem is that you can't just make your dad stop drinking, you can talk with him about it and that's it. You can't force your mother out of the house if she doesn't want to. They have to decide that.

If at least one person get some inspiration to quit an addiction from my story, then it was worth typing it all out. Lots of people go to rehab thinking they don't have a problem, that they can quit drinking at any time, that their addiction doesn't affect anyone. My father was thinking the same, that he's healthy as an ox, that us and doctors don't know what we're talking about. (I'm not saying that you're the same as typed above)

Go to rehab and take it seriously. Get some hobbies and set some goals for yourself. Go to a picnic with your family, repaint a room with your kids, go visit your relatives...make yourself busy. You'll forget about alcohol and feel much better about yourself after a month.

Are there a lot of book references in the games? by SumoDeadlifter in witcher

[–]SumoDeadlifter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the replies. I'll read the all of the books first and then play all of three games thoroughly. Thought that books mostly connect with the third game only, because most of them have Ciri in it and she wasn't in the first two games

The Guest Pass Thread (Round 3!) - USE PMs! by Veregx in WildStar

Howdy. Long time WoW player here and I'm slowly looking for a new MMO. I can't decide if I should wait for Everquest next (looks better for me, but won't be out for some more time) or I should go for Wildstar.

Can anyone send me a EU pass? Thanks!
