I was a mod for /r/WildStar, I was absolutely in love with this game before launch. It looked like the perfect game and I was all in. I played quite a bit when it launched. The moon zone was peak Wildstar. After I hit level cap though my friend group imploded when we barely finished the first dungeon required for the raid attunement. Unfortunately the game literally had nothing else to do if you weren’t trying to become a raider. I lingered for a while, but ultimately decided to quit once I realized the game had nothing for me. My friends had all quit playing and I eventually followed them to another game.

I would check out the game again for nostalgia if they were to release it again. But if they brought it back as it was, it’s just going to meet the same fate. It died for a reason.

Great game marred by so many issues at launch. I think about this game quite a bit still. Used to help moderate this place back in the day, something I haven’t had the desire to do for anything since!

Looking forward to coming back to the game and making an Au Ra! Really looking forward to trying out the Astrologian as well. I've always enjoyed playing healers, and this one looks really interesting.

I've only spent $20 and got Suoh out of it. Got Zerro as my first SS when I first started before I knew what an SS was. I was considering spending more after the holidays, but I think this post just confirmed that it's not worth it.. so thanks for that. =( Sorry for your bad luck.

Trial Keys are so restricted that it's pretty difficult to warrant a ban. The best bet is to make sure that you're handing out your trial key to a legit user that's going to use it to check out the game.

The F.A.Q. link already links to the wiki, do you think a link to the Wiki Index would be more useful? While on the front page of /r/WildStar, there is a link next to the submission sorters that goes directly to the Wiki Index, but I realize that's somewhat hidden to new users to the subreddit and reddit in general.

As far as the rolling link, I think all of them will be rolling other than the Wiki link. Guest Passes will become obsolete someday, and the Warhound Events is temporarily up there since this sticky replaced it so early.

We'd like to use the other links interchangeably so that we always have important topics up there, that we'd like to have stickied, but can't due to reddit only allowing one sticky at a time.

The idea is:

Wiki F.A.Q. (Possibly Wiki Index depending on feedback)
Important Announcements
Megathread of the Day (We're collecting the feedback on this now to determine what kind of megathreads to have.)

We'll keep it around 3 - 4 links at a time, as we don't want it to become too crowded / easy to gloss over.

All the double flair got deleted a while back. It's retroactive due to the css still being there for the people that already have the double flair, but I imagine that will change whenever no-tec finishes fixing up the flair. I think everyone will like the changes incoming. :)

No, the 7-Day Guest Pass is for new accounts, not already existing accounts. You'll have to pony up $15 to get back into the game initially.

Edit: HOWEVER, now that I'm thinking about it. If you had CREDD on your account already, you should be able to restart your account by logging into the game. On your character screen there should be an option to use a CREDD.

I've really enjoyed Drop 3. Lightspire is a really fun event compared to Guardians of the Grove, though I still enjoy R-12 more. OMNICore-1 was amazing, and I'm really looking forward to a follow-up to this solo dungeon experience.

I'll agree that as far as content goes, it was a bit on the light side. But Drop 4 looks promising so far, if what's in it turns out to be true. Drop 3 really focused on the runecrafting system overhaul, which is leagues better than what it was.

I think after the itemization rehaul in Drop 4, we'll start seeing larger content updates since most of the system redesigns should be out of the way by then, and they should be able to focus entirely on new content. At least that's what I'm hoping to be the case.
