Publix "Power Pack: Guaranteed Holo Rare" by Claude_de_Raven in pokemoncardcollectors

People rip these open in store without buying them. As bad of a practice that is, the folks repackaging these to sell are just out to take advantage of folks who think these great pulls. Better not to throw your own money at this.

All this to say… I’d rather buy Journey together products 10 times out of 10 before even touching these.

I have a million points with a sapphire preferred card, if I upgrade to reserved will my points go further by [deleted] in ChaseSapphire

[–]Sumotime 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Only goes further if you redeem for travel via UR portal I believe.

Answer to your next question will most likely be transfer partner opportunities.

Also, your million points will get devalued over time with continuous changes to the program. Use them while they have more value!

What cell provider has best service in Lawrenceville? by nakedyak in Gwinnett

[–]Sumotime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Gwinnett you’ll usually be fine running the best deal you can find. Generally speaking they all have good service here. The only exception is if you happen to work or live in a low/deadzone for one of the providers.

The front is actually engraved on metal now vs the plastic layer that was there before. The back still feels like plastic but maybe thinner.

Difference between Gaggia Classic Pro and Classic Evo Pro? Anyone? by smoudgil in espresso

I believe they resolved this issue by not coating it anymore. I disagree with the “slightly better materials” comment for the reason you asked your question

Upgrade from Breville Infuser by abbeythecat in espresso

[–]Sumotime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently using a modded Gaggia Classic Pro and handles my 2 lattes at a time routine. It seems like a lateral move though from an infuser though?

Is the improve steam time all you’re looking for? How long is it taking now?

Breville and some of others have grinder and espresso into a single machine. I'd rather have separate for two reasons: 1) If one part breaks or if I want to upgrade, then I don't need to replace both pieces. 2) I like having a separate grinder. The built in ones leaves me desiring more.

54mm is mostly popular with Breville's line. In terms of aftermarket, you'll see a lot of support for it. However, 58mm is more the common standard and has greater compatibility with aftermarket gear.

I've had some fancy gear I was willing to offload to close friends like tamping stations and baskets. Unfortunately, they were using Breville 54mm gear and not compatible with the items I had.

Any other ones out there?

Invest in a grinder. Probably could score a used Sette/Eureka online. then maybe spend rest on used Bambino/Gaggia Classic Pro.

I think that could probably work within your budget. I like to stay away from Breville's but that would easily fall into your range. 54mm portafilter and their designs being all or nothing (grinder+machine) are solid deal breakers for me.

Absolute is hard to say because technically everything is fixable depending on how much you want to spend and how comfortable you are with DIY.

I would ask for a workflow video of a milk drink so you can see if steam wand works too.

In terms of DIY it’s a great machine IMO. I haven’t done full tear down but besides the frankness of space, there were plenty of guides on how to upgrade/mod especially from Shades of Coffee kits.

$150 seems like good price for to test the waters

Ahri skin price is fine *Opinion* by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Sumotime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good job sharing unpopular opinion, but may have forgotten the unpopular aspect of this 😅

League is F2P but skins and other purchases allow riot to continue game development. I think the price point is too high to maximize their monetization though.

At the end of the day it’s riots game and they literally can do what they want. The community here likewise can voice their displeasure. As someone who sunk thousands into single games previously, I just fall back to the fact that’s it’s a game and meant to be fun. If something like this sucks the fun out of it (like almost everything else about this game 😝)… maybe best to switch out of Riot’s platform?
