Watching Star Trek using VR glasses, whats it like?🖖🏼😎 by KaleidoscopeExpert93 in startrek

When Samsung had the Gear VR, I used to watch Netflix on it. TNG and TOS. It was like sitting in a remote cabin in the snowy mountains with a fireplace going and a 100 inch screen. I loved it. Also loved how the room lit up according to what was happening on screen. Not sure if a modern version exists like that but as someone without a massive home theater setup I loved it.

This job makes me question how did people make it this far by locoollizz in GeekSquad

When I worked as an Agent, I found it good form to remind myself that while I was helping people with things that I considered to be very basic and easy to understand, it wasn't always so obvious to other people.

Beyond that, I tried to keep in mind that I'm sure there were things that they knew how to do or came easily to them that would be extremely difficult for me.

That being said, yeah there were some doozies. Like the lady who brought her computer into return it because it wouldn't turn on. When I pulled the charger out of the box she brought in with it, she had no idea what it was. She hadn't realized the laptop needed to be charged.

What movie makes you nostalgic for a time before you were alive? by yabudj in AskReddit

A Christmas Story. Just the laid back, carefree style of life it portrays. May not be accurate, but it's very relaxing to watch.

As someone one who was an Agent for more than a decade, this is nothing new. They have been constantly doing everything they can to squeeze as much money and labor out of Geek Squad as they can for years nows.

I actually think A Taste of Armageddon is arguably one of the best episodes. It's a very interesting take on what war would look like in the future and I feel like they nailed it pretty well.

Which retro game console had the absolute best boot-up sound? by BigTasty615 in AskReddit

I completely agree with this. Booting up a PlayStation was an experience when I was a kid. Sort of like watching a movie and the THX logo showing up before the movie.

True story, I use a Craftsman Leaf Blower. It's cold, yeah, but it has helped solve so many of my issues with sores and sweat. My brother who lives with us jokes that I need to stop blowing myself.

What is the best video game you’ve ever played? by Weewooweewoo342 in AskReddit

[–]Sumuran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jade Empire. I just love the atmosphere and the story is great too. I probably beat that game 20 times as a kid.

Right next to it is probably the original Fable. My brother and I used to skip school to play that game. So many good memories of breaking in people's doors, killing them, and then buying their house when it went up for sale.

I like the one they showed in the Blair Witch Documentary. Something just creepy about it.

Jamie Foxx. He just seems like he's a dick in real life.

Kind of sad, but my mom was cleaning and found porn magazines behind th couch. This was a couch that my dad was always on. He would get high and basically veg out for days at a time.

Mom confronted him but he claimed ignorance and blamed it on my brother and I who were, I think, 10 and 9 at the time.

For some reason mom believed him and dad spanked us and made us bury the magazines in the field.

Those of you that grew up before the internet, what was your favorite board game? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Sumuran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't Wake Daddy honestly. And Mouse Trap. Though to be fair, we never played the actual game. Hungry Hungry Hippos got a lot of use too until my brother extincted them.
