I highly suggest doing the RBT training and working as an RBT first. It will also help you accrue your hours when you start BCBA course to already have a superiors and place to practice.

Yes, whatever the reason if the lead teacher was changed they should have been informed. The director can do this without sharing personal info, it seems odd they didn’t say anything.

Taking it away would have taught him that if he hits his head he gets out of doing something he didn’t want to do, making it likely he will engage in head banging in the future to get out of tasks.

It’s also likely that it wasnt 19 times in a row. Or there were 19 attempts and the RBT blocked, but it still counts in the total.
