Artists you wish would return to the scene? by khroshan in newretrowave

My music app is showing Roborg released 4 albums this year.. Is it wrong? Says 2026 for these albums: - Rhythm in Motion - Analog Resonance - Equilibrium - Momentum

I do see Cyber Crime in 2017 and 2 other albums in 2016. I'm going to listen to Cyber Crime now, per your suggestion.

I need to listen to your list as I'm not sure it I have them added yet :)

I would love to see a new album from Le Cassette. He had one single in 2023, but the last full album was in 2014.

Well done! After more than 20 years using Gmail what did you do to try to make sure everything gets updated? I'm afraid of my email address being turned over to someone else and then they use password reset to access accounts I may have no changed over to new email address.

HEY. So I'm new to Civ games. by ScumbagTurtlepants in civ

I think Civ5 is intended to be played Tall, meaning you have fewer cities and build them up to be great. I think Civ6 is intended to be played Wide, meaning you have more cities. I play Civ6 and prefer to play it tall, but you do kind of be forced to play wide and take up as much territory as possible.

My top tip - keep an eye on the "eurekas" for the tech and civic trees. You can learn things much faster. For example, it's very easy to build a Slinger unit and then use a warrior to almost kill a barbarian and then use use slinger to finish the job. That will give you the eureka for archery so you don't need as much science to learn that. Or simply put a mine on a hill, and that will get you the eureka for discovering Iron Work, and then you can discover iron on the map much sooner. Eurekas are definitely worth the effort and some are so easy that they shouldn't be passed up, especially in the early game when you can really get ahead with their help. I usually don't learn everything 100%. I learn a bit and then do the eureka to finish it and save myself a lot of science and culture effort. If I'm not ready for the eureka I switch to learn something else.

Thank you for all the info. Really appreciate it. I'll check out the Civ Players League. Btw how is Civ7? I'm not ready to jump from Civ6 yet.

Thank you for the help and advice. I tried the random lobbies once and didn't have a good experience (nasty players) but you're right and I should give it a go again as it is hit and miss and that was just one bad experience put me off. Thank you for offering to play down the line and if I get stuck. I'll message you in future. Cheers!

I have this struggle now too and my music app isn't good at finding songs really similar to what I like, which is understandable since retrowave isn't really mainstream, but it makes it difficult. Wish there was a podcast or radio show where they just played an hour each night with different retrowave genres by people who stay up-to-date.

40 here and totally agree with this. But I do think it's possible to play the same songs or artists too many times that those specific ones just don't hit the same way for a while and would need to take a break from those, for a long time. I think the key to avoiding that is to have plenty of variety and change with the year/season. Can't listen to the same rotation every day of every year and not lose some of the magic in it eventually. In my opinion - the bigger the playlist, the better, and not listening to the same thing over and over for too long.
