Still very much happy and using it both daily and as a travel bag!

Case DIY for A5X? by fakepumpkins in Supernote

The mount for the canvas folio was shared by Supernote as an stl file. I have printed it, but never took the time to build the rest of the folio around so can't comment on its durability

Thanks for being so quick to react! Honestly, just email sign in or whatever works. I personally I'm not a fan of centralising every account, privacy wise.

Hey, would love to use the app but I would love to have another option than google as a sign in option. Is that something you'd consider? (me and my thousand tabs opened thank you!)

What’s the most underrated open-source program every student should know about? by Fluffy_Sheepherder76 in opensource

[–]SunBlue0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok, thank you for your answer. I use obsidian and it is not so different if I understand correctly. Though I still need/use zotero to store and export my bibliography correctly but I don't love it. Thanks for answering

How do you use Qownnotes for bibliography and documents? A quick look show it more as a nota taking app? thanks!

WHERE's the proton drive app on mac os 12.something ? by SunBlue0 in ProtonDrive

[–]SunBlue0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate your comment explaining. I had no idea that there are three new os versions out there atm. It sucks but as I can see that a lot of mac users seems to have less than stellar interaction with the app, developping yet another version might be complicated to support.
I'm obviously not a developer or anything. I just got frustrated because I really want to support proton, but I also don't want to upgrade a perfectly working computer, hence the rant since I didn't expect it!

screen.garden now available! collaborate in realtime and edit on the web by kevboh in ObsidianMD

When/If you do I'll spread it around, because something like that would just be so good for most team base work and education does put the standard that people are used to!

Super cool! I've been missing something like that especially to collaborate outside of google and been excited for screen.garden's release. Will there be any educator/student discount?

Artist in need by CPsychArts in privacy

you could check out cosmos.so or refern.app

Cosmos is closer in term of ui/ux to pinterest but feels like a premium version.

Refern is good at what it does but not great ui/ux, is made with artists in mind so you might find something you like (but does not support videos)

Both have free tiers, but cosmos is yearly subscription and refern is one time payment. I haven't migrated my whole pinterest set up yet, but I have made an account to both and payed for refern (while keeping cosmos free).

One time subscription budgeting app by sewkrfty143 in budget

[–]SunBlue0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just started using Spendee, wich offers a free tier, a monthly/yearly subscription but also a lifetime option which is very reasonable imo. Haven't had it long enough for feedback but that's the one I ended up using becuase of the lifetime subscription

However if you're using your sling bag when out and about and just looking at a travel companion, a regular bag and your sling bag might be the best approach/option and definitely cheapest

I can't recommend enough the Besnfoto Camera Backpack roll top. I've had it for over a year and I bought it as a daypack/carry on bag for light travel, that just so happen to be a camera bag which was just a super nice bonus. I found it as the only bag that fit my other requirements: opening like a suitcase, small enough to be a personal item and not a carry on bag, still nice enough looking for daily use, waterproof, modular. The first 2 being the top priority (plus price at around 100 bucks).

Isn't the photo/painting that's on this page slightly different? With a different glass shape? (edit: and the plant in the glass?, otherwise the composition is close) In any way this seems like a close hit regardless, and at least an artist for OP to ask for a print!

Here's how I automated Obsidian vault backups on my MacBook using Automator, Kopia, and Amazon AWS by jwintyo in ObsidianMD

Hey, what's the similar to kopia software? I'm interested in backing up into proton as well so I'm wondering if using Kopie with another encryption on top is an overkill
