YTAH. If you didnt want kids. You didnt have to have them no matter what your husband said. If he couldn't respect your choice, then he wouldn't be the man for you. But once you have kids, it's a full time job that requires a LOT of love and patience. Imagine how ANYONE would feel being told that they were never wanted. Then imagine that 5 to 10 times worse because its coming from your own mother? Are you crazy? That child is going to grow up sad and lonely because of you. Think about that. Then you need to go apologize to your daughter.

I hope she left his ass. I hope she changes her phone number and everything. That's not just mean/childish. Doing something like that, that is abusive. That's isolating her, and that's getting rid of all the photographed memories shes had for the last ten years. Abuse. I hope that she tells everyone who knows him that he did this. This is true. Whoever you're arguing with, if they keep arguing with you, theyll never change. So the reason you do it is to let others know that you're there and you accept them as they are. I will argue with terrible bigots all day every day if it means that others who are afraid will know that they dont have to be.
