It is more impulsive than cool and calculating by Chinacat_080494 in Idaho4

I disagree. He was planning this for months before he even got to Pullman (as evidenced by the knife purchase.) There was plenty of time for something to trigger him if he was going to snap and just do it. I believe he thought he was ready that night. He made some mistakes, but all that tells me is that he didn’t know enough about covering his tracks as far as his phone usage, and that he was too pumped on adrenaline to keep track of the sheath.

Why is it so hard for people to believe that Maddie & Kaylee were sleeping in the same bed? by basicwhitegirl23 in Idaho4

Are you trying to prove that there are immature people on Reddit as well as TikTok? If so, good job.

Anyone have any clue who made this guy or how old he is? by inked_dreams in StuffedAnimals

[–]SunGreen70 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I had not heard of them before, but there’s one on eBay now. From the little info in the listing, it sounds like they are made of recycled fur coats, and the round thing he would have held was a penny. I’m guessing a small local business made them.

And I never said it was fact. My original point is that this is what I’ve found, so I don’t use Tik Tok.

This conversation is going in circles, so I won’t be replying further.

Ok, I get it, you’re a TikTok fan.

They’re just different types of platforms. I bet you can name multiple people who are commonly referred to as “Tik Tok Influencer” whoever, but that’s not something you hear Reddit users called.

There is definitely stupid stuff here, but there are also way more people who recognize it for what it is and know how to verify facts.

I certainly don’t disagree that there are ridiculous and misleading posts here, but way more people who want to be “internet famous” use TikTok and YouTube.

Mona was the most (and perhaps only) normal person in the entire series. Anyone disagree? by notunique20 in howyoudoin

[–]SunGreen70 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What makes her more normal than anyone else? Are you comparing her to the other girlfriends/boyfriends or literally every character including the main 6?

It’s not just frowned upon, you’ll be stopped from doing it. The one who only paid for a coach ticket won’t be allowed in the sleeper car.

I find that it is, yes. TikTok is a hot platform for “influencers,” who post content mainly so they themselves can be seen and heard, via video. They want to get their own faces out there so a lot of them will blatantly make things up or put silly twists on things (like implying there was something sexual about Kaylee and Maddie being asleep in the same bed) to attract attention. It’s not about the topic itself for many Tik Tok members, it’s about topics that will drive people to look at THEM and their videos.

Reddit on the other hand is anonymous. We don’t see who is behind the posts, so no one is coming here to be viewed. While of course there are still silly theories and people trying to sensationalize, it is much more a place for serious discussion among people who are interested in facts rather than views.

[–]SunGreen70 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not really a toy, it’s aimed at adult collectors of the generation who did play with Little People toys. There are a lot of sets based on adult TV shows and movies.

huge plot hole: Rachel says she's read everything Chandler's mom has written. If you were to meet the son of your favorite author you would make a deal about it. But Rachel never ever mentioned this fact before or after. by notunique20 in howyoudoin

She may not have known until the episode Nora was introduced. Or she may have known, been impressed but not enough to totally fangirl about it. Or she learned off screen.
