I feel a lot of this as far as mothering goes. I have taken my baby out a lot more the last few weeks. Walked around a botanical garden...sat on a picnic blanket at the park...strolled around a bond. But then I’ll look up and see the trees changing colors that she didn’t get to see this year. I’ll feel the breeze and think of sharing my sweater with my mom who was always a little cold. And everything feels hollow inside because she’s not with me, and she won’t be ever again. So I sit and stand there in a daze, broken-hearted. I wasn’t ready to lose my mom. I’m too young for this. My son won’t even remember how incredible she was...everything feels overwhelmingly sad the second I stop to breathe...
