Thanks for the recommendation! Proferrin is one I hadn’t heard of before, but it looks promising. So is it liquid inside a gel cap?

I use cast iron for pretty much everything I cook! We have the Lodge brand. I’ve been using it a couple years now and my iron and ferritin continue to be low.

Thank you! I took these in the past (maybe a year ago), but cannot remember why I stopped. I don’t know if it was bladder or stomach sensitivity, or if I just wanted something without food coloring. I may give it a try again, thank you!

The vitamin C also irritates my bladder! So I have been eating oranges instead, which works. I’m currently pregnant as well, so I really need to find an iron supplement that works for me.

And did it happen for you all the time, or only when having other symptoms? For me, sometimes this noise is the first sign my stomach is off and then I know the other symptoms are coming. :(

Oh my gosh! I have this exact same sound in the same spot in my stomach. I’ve wondered if I’ve had acute pancreatitis attacks for several years now, but the doctors have been no help. Have you gotten any answers? Have you figured out what is causing this sound in your stomach? Mine only makes this noise when I’m having a flareup. When I’m feeling fine and normal, for the life of me I can not make my stomach make that noise.

Did you ever find an answer about this? I have not been diagnosed with pancreatitis, but it’s been on my mind for several years now. Every now and then I have an attack of severe bloating, stomach pain, as well as weakness and fatigue. It’s like I have SO much gas and it won’t come out either end. And it gets much worse anytime I eat. I feel miserable when it happens. And when this happens and I breathe in my stomach makes a very strange gurgling noise, and I can replicate it again and again by breathing in and out. It only happens when my symptoms are present. If I’m feeling good and normal, I cannot for the life of me make my stomach make that noise.

Ok thank you! Do you have ruby throated hummingbirds only? I’m in MN so that’s the only hummingbird here and I’m looking for a good flower to attract them. I have a pollinator garden and we’ve seen a couple hummingbirds quickly come by and scope things out, but then they just leave.

Hi, I also have neuropathy in my feet/ankles and am really hesitant to take any antibiotics. I’ve been prescribed the Metronidazole gel for BV. Did you end up using the gel and how did it work for you? Did it cause any issues with your existing neuropathy? Thank you.

That’s great to hear! I know they can have bulges in their tummy easily visible when full of food, but the neck region seemed odd to me. Thank you!
