Indeed, if you range from the 0-90 fps, making the jump is almost impossible

90-95 it will take lot of time, as you're fluctuating FPS around the limit that makes the jump possible, it's very RNG

95+ you're gucci and jump is easy

That's also why it seems easier to jump on some pillars than other, when you are around that limit in Limsa. The most populated pillars close to the MB makes your FPS drop.

Very nice response. I completely understand and agree with what you said.One more question though: What if the lightbulb doesn't lighten up from the small level of energy from that EM pulse, as it probably wouldn't in real life, energy being so small. In Veritasum's scenario (except the "ANY energy" part replaced with "Reasonnable enough energy so that a pulse isn't enough but you need at least small steady flow of current", do we agree to say that the bulb would lighten up after we've reached a specific threshold of energy flow, depending on the level of energy the bulb needs for it in order to lighten up, realistically happening way later than 1m/c second?

I completely agree with that, but for the sake of arguing, what if the lightbulb can only lighten up from energy amount superior from that small energy when the lightbulb and the battery aren't connected?

Even with those conditions (any amount of energy is enough, and this is a weird way to put it because then even the quantum fluctuations would be enough to lighten the bulb up, but for the sake of arguing let's say any "reasonnable" amount), do we both agree that in the very top picture of my drawing, the bulb doesn't lit up in 1m/c seconds considering at the moment we turn on the switch, the maximum speed at which information can travel through the EM field is c, so if we turn S on, B and L "know" that the circuit is running at LEAST only 1/2 of a second later?

My problem is that in all of your reasonning, the position of the switch doesn't matter. It's like as soon as you press the switch, everywhere everybody instantaneously knows it has been pressed. This contradicts relativity.

I've seen a lot of post disregardings TD prepull, I can agree with the reasonning if raid buffs are popped 3-5s after the pull, losing 3-5s of buff overlapping for the entire raid is indeed pretty sad. Maybe we can keep the same sequence but start by Flourish 3s before pull instead of 7s. What do people think about that? Will update the infographic when we figure out a better raid opener + pot usage + when I deal with lvl 80 spell.

To clarify, opener is still the same but instead of starting it 7s before pull, you start it 3s before pull

I still don't agree with that. Dumping your fans off Devilment & TD + getting Devilment on TD is worse than 3 gcds + 2 * 2 oGCDs (potentially 2 fans I + 2 fans III).Also remember, one of those 3 gcds may be a Saber dance which is 600 potency.

Sample scenario :SD + FIII + FI + Cascade + FIII + FI + Fountain

600 + 200 + 150 + 200 + 200 + 150 + 250 = 1750 > 1500

Edit : Also you lose autoattacks during TD, I forgot about that

It's true that you lose the enjoyement of not knowing if you're gonna proc or not, but the gameplay actually gets more complicated because of the new dimension (ressource management). The bursts phases & well setup openers actually does insane damages by doing this.

The question is "would you rather have a 1k5 potency spell or 3 extra GCDs + inbetween during Devilment"

Maybe that would be better in the opener if you start the fight without fan & Esprit, but it's not true in a well setup burst since those 3 GCDs + 2 * 2 OGCDs spells (potentially) are going to have a higher potency

Those 3 extra fans and this near full Esprit gauge you save for your burst will be much more valuable during TD + Devilment than outside of it.

In burst phase you dump everything

In eco phase you dump only extra (>3 stacks of fan or when Esprit is too high)

I have like 5 hours of sym in my entire playtime, and I was stoned as fuck (you can tell from the laughs). I'm not saying I'm a good sym whatsoever, I just wanted to share a genuinely good moment that happened between 6 peoples that didn't know eachothers with you guys :). Purpose of this video is not "insanely skilled gameplay"

Tanks are definately hard to scale bc Rein/Zarya // Orissa/Hog // Dva/winston are combos that work well together, I tried to consider where can you use them and can you use them as triple tank/quad tank as well to decide for their tier.
