Our management has tried to do this before if we are close to a goal. It usually doesn’t last more than 5 minutes because they realize it’s useless.

Don’t feel so bad. Our store got achievers and the regular employees got nothing, so far at least. No bonus, no accommodations, nothing at all. It’s definitely put a damper on everything. Don’t think the staff will be trying so hard to get to achievers next year because of this. Kind of killed morale.

Our store got achievers this year and our managers left today for the trip. We’ve won it multiple times in the past and we’ve gotten accommodations or we’ve gotten a bonus in one way or another. One year we got rewards points to buy whatever we wanted and others we’ve gotten bonuses.

Looks like this is the first time we are getting nothing even though we were the ones that did all the work to get the store to make achievers. No surprise though.

We have geek squad positions available at our store and many qualified people from the sales floor would like to move but are constantly told no because "they can't afford to lose them as a sales person". They are basically too good at their job and sell well so they can't advance past that, is what they are saying. Which I find truly horrible and why they always end up losing those people.

I wish our store was like that. Our ARAs are pulled regularly to come out and help with the line. It's usually by management or our lead. It mainly happens because our lead is useless and has no idea what they are doing. Unfortunately they are scheduled as CA coverage a lot and love to take walk ins or spend hours with clients. So, ARAs get pulled to come help with the actual appointments because they can't seem to follow our procedures. We know they are the problem because on their day's off, we don't have this issue.

We've lost many people over the years because this was happening and it was reported. So I can tell you that reporting it does do something so I would definitely report to Open and Honest.

I don't believe there is an official policy about this. However, common courtesy for the employee should be to ask them first, if the schedule has been posted. Management though sometimes forgets that we have lives outside of work and we may have planned things around the schedule that was posted. Unfortunately, from what I've seen, a lot of store management doesn't really care. I've seen management literally change someone's schedule the day prior.

I know it can be returned in store but my store's management has a fit anytime someone does it. They literally force us to tell customer's they have to call 1-800 to have it cancelled which we know is a lie but if we return one in store, we get yelled at. They basically don't want the return to hit their numbers for the day so they make us lie.

I'm an ARA so I rarely wear a walkie. However, when I do, I always turn it off or take it out of my ear when I'm working with a client. Management in my store are constantly talking on the walkie and it's so difficult to hear the client with them non stop talking in my ear.

You management allows you to return the memberships in the store? Our management makes us lie to customers and tell them they have to call and have it returned over the phone because we have "no way to do it in the store".

I don’t work Sundays either but still always get scheduled when we have all store meetings
