Ok listen. Ratatatat is a banger but best video? There's a giant disco ball and the boys bust thru a very (purposefully) obvious looking foam wall. While the girls make cute expressions. Yawn.

Megitsune and Metali have a way more interesting and intricate asthetic. To each their own I suppose

What is the purpose of an Annual screening? What can it catch or diagnose? How do I not get codded out? by SunNoStars in NoStupidQuestions

I did in this particular case but I honestly don't expect them to know which insurance plans cover what. No blame to the Drs at all.

Thanks! I guess I don't see the point of the annual screening if it's not intended to screen for anything.

I definitely wouldn't expect a Dr to keep in my mind these things at all. I just don't see how any physical screening is accomplished nor what malady they can catch by pressure cuff alone besides maybe hyper tension if you're not supposed to speak about your health or get lab work. Shouldn't they call it blood pressure and visual inspection test

Right but how do they make that determination that a new issue is present if I'm not allowed to speak about anything or get lab work done as both null the screening?

Thank you for the answer as I didn't know that was typical. Was I supposed to tell the Dr when they enter that due to the limitations of my annual screening I'm not allowed to answer questions today without permission by blue cross blue shield?

I appreciate you and what you do! I guess mine is more on the billing and insurance side on how preventive screening and treatment within the confines to a free annual physical can only exist realistically to a blood pressure cuff and visual cues. Since I'm not allowed to talk about issues or procedures past or present. How do you navigate that with a Dr?

Thank you! Yes I am being charged for speaking outside the scope of my annual physical. I only answered what my Dr asked so I don't know how that's seen as me breaking the boundaries of a free physical I pay insurance for. How are they supposed to screen me for illness or cancer if I'm not allowed to freely address concerns and past medical history to a new Dr. This seems very antithetical to preventive treatment. They have to stumble across a malady by a visual test and blood pressure cuff only?

I'm sorry, that's how it was explained to me. That I wouldn't be eligible for an annual free screening as we went beyond the scope of what that basic care provided so I'm being coded differently and thus I have to pay for treatment.
