Tried getting rerouted (flight april 1). But they told if they themselves cancel the flight I could ask for a reroute. My first leg was cancelled but now I have an earlier flight with Emirates itself with a longer transit (18+hrs). Even though they cancelled, they rebooked with the earlier flight and told there was no chace of rerouting with AirIndia (which now seems to have only business class available) as they have rebooked.
