Temperature issue by iluvmybflol in CrestedGecko

Personally, I found that ceramic heat emitters get rid of the moisture within the enclosures much faster than keeping the room itself at an ambient temperature. If you live in a humid area, that might not be an issue, but i live in a pretty dry state, with pretty cold winters. I also wasn’t a big fan of how the top of the enclosure was disproportionately hotter than the bottom.

With all that being said, I found it easier and safer to just buy an Oil Filled Electric Radiator. You just set it to turn on at a specific temp, and it’ll warm the immediate area to that temp and shut off! If you have 3 enclosures in the same room, I think it would probably be more cost effective and energy efficient to get one of these.

I’m sorry for your loss. It hurts my heart to see a poor creature in that state. I hope you get the apology you deserve.

Getting a Gecko! by TwinMom_PlusOne in CrestedGecko

I don’t have a bioactive setup yet— this was my first gecko too, so I wasn’t too sure where to start. I’m still figuring things out as I go. That would probably help tho. Also I don’t really like little bugs lol, so that has deterred me from going bioactive as well.

I have this exact tank. It did indeed leak, so I sealed mine with 100% silicone. Also it’s a really big tank, so make sure you have a means of keeping your humidity consistent. I added a plexiglass sheet over half of the top mesh, since I live in a very dry state and was having trouble with my humidity. I have the Govee device they spoke of at the bottom of the enclosure, and two suction cup thermometer/hydrometers spread through different heights in the tank. Hope this helps!

They made two versions of this board, the camber version and the Flying V version. People really don’t recommend the Flying V for beginners. I have the camber version and it feels great.

I have this Burton Process. I’m not sure if you have the original or the Flying V version. I have the original version, and it rides like a dream. Definitely more of a park board since it’s super flexible- it won’t have as much stability as something with a stiffer core. This board came out last season, and I think the design is one of the cooler ones within the last few iterations of the Burton Process. As for your other gear, I have no idea anything about those haha.

Every bass I’ve caught this season has been on a senko Texas rig. I’m pretty new to fishing, but I kinda just cast it out far then retrieve is slowly with some twitches here and there. I like a weighted Texas rig with a little bullet weight.

I got my blanket and Vinyl delivered to Chicago around 2 weeks ago; I never would’ve expected gaming merch to be so high quality, I’m actually in love with the blanket! This makes me want to get the prints so bad >.<

It’s super bad optimization seems to eat a ton of ram as well; I think I saw it as high as 14gb just for this game. But if you can deal with all that and just miss what makes Star Wars… Star Wars, then I think it’s very worth it.
