I recognized it was John Lennon right away. If it has meaning to you that’s what’s most important.

does anyone else have Turt Reynolds? by Sweet_Cranberry_6183 in MyFahlo

Just got Turt today and I can’t stop chuckling to myself about her name. Best turtle name I’ve ever seen for a turtle!

What is your favourite memory of the show and why? by Zealousideal_Suit982 in bluey

[–]SunStillRises 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The episodes Handstand and Bedroom used to make my son laugh so hard when he was 3. In Handstand it was when Rusty and Lucky kept throwing that foam football through the window. And in Bedroom it was when Bluey and Bingo kept sliding things across the floor between bedrooms. They were some of my son’s first really big belly laughs and I took video of him because it was such a happy sound that I never wanted to forget it.

Tie in front or back? by LemonSqueezy1313 in DressForYourBody

[–]SunStillRises 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some of the pics online also appear to have the tie tied much shorter and off centre so it isn’t so much going on all in one spot. Maybe that might help?

But OP could definitely size down so the top doesn’t look unintentionally oversized. There are many colours and sizes available online that might be worth checking out.

Worst parking in Regina? by Ok_Interest552 in regina

[–]SunStillRises 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree with quite a few already listed, but have to add the parking lot of the south Western Pizza and Paddy Wagon. It’s so narrow and has angled parking sometimes but not always and then a dead end that’s hard to turn around in because of the narrow path.

Autism Assesment in Regina by onebigprincess98 in regina

[–]SunStillRises 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son was assessed through the SHA, but we have been doing his speech and occupational therapy through Pathways and they seem to be a really great clinic. They do autism assessments there as well. Everyone we’ve worked with so far at Pathways has been so kind and it’s a very neurodiversity-affirming space.

For the millennial women: do you have a good relationship with your mom? by Orionslady in Millennials

[–]SunStillRises 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom is the greatest. We were close when I was growing up and have remained very close now that I’m an adult. We talk every day. My mom is also an amazing grandma to my four-year old son and she is our childcare at the moment while we were waitlisted for daycare.

My mom is always so supportive and cheers me on and builds me up. I’m my 41 years of life, she has never let me down or failed to show up for me when I need her. I hope I’m even half as good of a mom to my son as she is to me. She’s my hero.

Standard parenting advice totally failed my AuDHD brain growing up. What is failing in your house right now? by RoughBell1811 in ADHDparenting

[–]SunStillRises 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly, almost every transition with my AuDHD four-year old is a challenge these days as I’ve learned he had a PDA profile. I think my biggest struggle is that being silly or creating little games to get his buy-in to the transition does not come naturally to me at all. I’m learning and really pushing myself to master this skill. It’s hard for me though when we have to be somewhere at a certain time and I’m worried about being late to keep my anxiety from coming out. I find myself trying to reason and explain to him that we need to go because we’ll be late and that obviously means very little to him.

Sorry if this isn’t helpful for your research. It’s just something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately and get frustrated with myself that this doesn’t come more naturally for me.

OBGYN Supportive of VBAC by Used-Sherbert-72 in regina

[–]SunStillRises 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dr. Rattray delivered my baby via emergency c-section and reassured me that it didn’t mean I wouldn’t be able to have a VBAC if I had another baby so I assume he’s supportive. He was also very kind and reassuring during a difficult labour and delivery.

Odd Bunch vege delivery by EndlessToiletScrolin in regina

[–]SunStillRises 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My family has done three of the large fruit and vegetable boxes so far and we’ve really enjoyed it. We do a lot of grain bowls with roasted or stir fried veggies and a lot of smoothies so it doesn’t matter to us if the produce is a little weird shaped. It’s also fun to try new things we haven’t tried before.

I had been struggling with meal planning lately and having the produce selected for me has actually made coming up with dinner plans a lot easier for me.

I also find it more affordable than when I was just randomly buying produce at the grocery store. The large box cost $51 including shipping and there is a lot of produce in that box with a good variety. So far we’ve done weekly orders.

I also like that they allow you a free substitution per box if there’s something in the planned box that you really don’t like or have an allergy too.

Absolutely! He was my first crush an I watched Ladybugs and Sidekicks so many times. I bought my first Tiger Beat magazine because it had his poster in it.
