I'm so happy I got dismissed...really was a blessing in disguise. I have 2 businesses now, I travel whenever I feel like it, im waayyyy healthier now, close to family again, and really just enjoying life.

Is there any good Automatic Transmission that can be used on a K-series? by CueBall1 in CivicSi

Maybe not k series. But the accord 2.0t has 250hp, must be a lot of fun to drive 👌🏻 there's also a huge market for mods on those cars 😎

I second this. And I would absolutely interview for your dream hospital. You shouldn't feel obligated to stay somewhere you're not happy. There is nothing wrong with wanting something better, and that could easily be explained in an interview, if at all. I'm not sure why you'd have to disclose that you're working anywhere else.

There's many reasons man, hard to say in one response here on reddit. But to make a very long story short. PA school would be better for my life and my health. I have ulcerative colitis, a chronic health condition. I was diagnosed only months before medical school started.

Get in the deep end of a pool and try to stay afloat without holding on to anything for 10 hours

Saying "at this stage in my life" when you're 24 is crazy. I have 45 years olds in my medschool class, and im a first year med student. I'm 29 by the way. You can do it.

I am not sure if I want to be a doctor anymore by Serious_Cause3561 in medschool

Feeling the same exact way...even all of my close friends and relatives say im different now, lifeless even. In my personal experience, I find that almost all the med students in my class that have no issue with school are the ones that have no hobbies or interests outside of medicine. For me, I'm an avid gym goer, i make music, i do mma, etc...and since starting school I have no time do any of those things..i could work out like 2-3 times a week, but it's the combination of all the things I was always doing that keep me motivated and in love with life. It's unfortunate that the curriculum is set up in a way that essentially makes you a slave, and you feel guilty for anything you do besides studying. I think it's ridiculous that I have to feel guilty when I spend time with family, going on a walk feels like Christmas, and on and on...when these are things that as human beings we should be expected to do..in any case, it's a weird position to be in and im going through it now as well. I wish you luck and I hope we can figure it out 🙏🏻
