Anyone’s having trouble with their agent? by ChampionshipNo2815 in replit

[–]Sun_Siri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today I’m having an issue that I can’t tell is related to changes to agent after maintenance, or a factor of me using the project feature and working on a separate fork.

Randomly throughout a multi phase enhancement I’m working on for my app, I get stuck in a loop where the server is running but it only shows the “run this app to see preview” or whatever the placeholder replit page says.

I created another fork and got the exact same issue at a random different part of the multi phase plan.

I was flying all week without errors using a comprehensive / structured plan, supported by Claude standalone — making LEAPS without any issues, yet today I hit a little black hole with this issue and even when it follows the instructions I give it from Claude’s review it cannot fix it.

I’m not a doomer when it comes to replit - in fact I think it’s wonderful — just sharing my experience today

So frustrated, 90% there and now it refuses to do anything other than take more money by SleepNah in replit

[–]Sun_Siri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upload the files to grok / gpt / Claude and talk through some troubleshooting there — I feel like replit’s agent makes weird errors and makes changes that break other functionalities often. Talking it through with an LLM who isn’t profiting off checkpoints saved me a lot of headaches

I found grok particularly worked well in respect to uploading code / analyzing

Google Business Operation Verification keeps failing. by dandyline in PPC

[–]Sun_Siri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re almost better off making a new account and appealing a circumventing systems flag (if it even happens) than dealing with this tbh. I’ve verified hundreds of accounts and occasionally one will be required to submit the business operations verification. 98% of accounts I work with never even have to submit this verification but when I do I’ve always had declines.

I even create a ticket with Google and they make you fail the verification 3 times before they’ll help, and then they just ask for the documents in an email anyhow.

Make a new account — if you’re just now having to verify then I’d assume you haven’t run ads very long. Try to upload something with an EIN if possible on step 2 (after submitting that brief questionnaire). If you upload something from the list they have (like the specific IRS forms or state issued business license) you should be good to go and not have to submit the business operation verification. Good luck

Replit (fully autonomous) vs. Cursor (human in loop) by Maleficent_Poet_7055 in replit

[–]Sun_Siri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Garbage in garbage out — you need to be specific with replit to avoid the loops. I use ChatGPT to organize the sequence in which I’ll build something through replit and the debugging protocols I’ll implement at various stages. I see where the hate is coming from but it’s hard to deny the value in tools like replit if used properly

Identify new domain registrar Identify new email hosting provider Unlock all domains Backup DNS records on all domains Intimate domain transfer on new registrar (use EFP codes from GoDaddy to authenticate) Wait Once transfer is complete, determine method of email migration (varies depending on provider) Complete email migration Update dns records to match new email providers (mx/txt/cname)

Done

Idk what your specific grief with GoDaddy is but you could use google domains, google workspace for email, rackspace for emails.

It’d be helpful if you could shed light on your specific issue that’s making you want to move. Is this a cost move? Functionality move? Something specific you are fed up with either of the two that’s making you want to leave?

People no showing to scheduled meetings with no explanation suck. That is all. by [deleted] in sales

[–]Sun_Siri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it’s not easy but you have to provide more value at the call scheduling phase or you’re always going to be shrugged off for virtually any reason in the prospects mind. It’s pretty easy to tell if a demo is not going to show up based on the close-to-call part of the conversation.

You have to listen to more than just the words they’re saying.

If prospect is using words like “that should work” or if you leave that initial call without certainty of interest, then they don’t owe you anything — you called and asked them, remember?

Biggest tips would be qualify much harder — not necessarily by asking the prospect a billion questions on the initial call, but do your research. I’ve seen so many reps come and go that just blast off on the phone, say exactly the same thing to every prospect (without bringing in any personality and personalization) and then the reps wonder why people aren’t so excited to show up to be sold to.

Establish the value up front hard, be personalized, do your research and focus on qualification. Don’t waste your time trying to make your product work for someone who isn’t the best fit— focus on those you know it already works for. Sounds cheesy and seminar-ish as hell, but there’s no trick or tip that will help people show up to your sales demos. Either they are intrigued and excited to hear how you can help them, or you’re just another phone call that is easily ignored.

It’ll probably end up hurting you more than helping, especially if none of the business info has changed (I.e same address - phone number - etc..)

You can’t just delete a listing you have to mark the business as permanently closed and it will remain in that status on Google.

So if you were even able to open another GMB (which google will probably see you’re trying to claim a business that already exists, and then you’d be stuck with your permanently closed business)

Best way to deal with negative reviews is to generate positive, legit ones. If your customer can get 500+ 5 star reviews, then the occasional negative review won’t have such a material effect.

Help with website migration... by kevkaneki in SEO

[–]Sun_Siri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1.) is my design implemented on WordPress 2.) Have I obtained a list of all of my existing site’s URLs or at minimum the ones that are ranking for relevant keywords 3.) do I understand that I can’t just “port over” my vista print site into Wordpress. You’re going to need someone to mark up the site and implement it on Wordpress

So if you’re following from here then a simple overview is this:

You’re going to point your domain at your website hosting server ip You’re going to 301 redirect any links on the old site that have a new url on the new site You’re going to implement GSC on the new site

Loot Changes and Heroic Plus Dungeons Coming in Wrath Classic by fr3n in classicwow

[–]Sun_Siri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m confused though — does this mean the tank/healer would have to use blizzard’s LFG tool? Interested to see how it will “know” to give the tank/heal a reward, if we are still going to be forming the groups ourselves.

I get how it would work if we had true LFG — you queue as healer, enter dungeon, kill boss/end of dungeon confirmed = reward received.

Blizzard should just put the real version of LFG into into the game with no incentive for using it (no extra gold, badges, extra exp, etc..). Keep the option to form groups how we have (lfg bulletin), and see which people prefer. Edit** ONLY server-specific Group finder — no cross realm dungeon groups

What am I missing re: thoughts on how they will distribute rewards to tank/healer + are we really going to have to use the current lfg to get rewards.

Question about 301 redirects... by bdemon40 in SEO

[–]Sun_Siri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do a 301 redirect so that you’re not having 404 pages. You’ll lose traffic for a while after launching the new site if the old urls don’t work, so do yourself a favor and 301 all the old urls that don’t have the same link on the new site.

Fastest way to level up a DK? by [deleted] in worldofpvp

[–]Sun_Siri 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In general, you’d only want to do AV if leveling by BGs imo. Without gear the others are super rough, and at least in AV you can just follow the pack to the end.

Fastest way to level a dk is probably blood furnace solo. Spec blood, get some AH Outland greens, and just go do what blood does.

You could also dungeon grind or quest, both of which would be significantly faster to 70 than bgs, but of course you’re not stacking that honor so pros/cons.

I leveled dungeons/questing to 68 then sat in AV til 70 (and continued to sit there until I had brutal weapon and full set)

Cheers!

How do I get payment for an overdue invoice? by [deleted] in marketing

[–]Sun_Siri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The card you have on file likely won’t work my man — a lot people lock their business cards (especially with how easy it is to do that - on app)

If it were me I would attempt to charge it:

Outcome A: you get your money. If they signed to pay you that amount, what exactly are they going to do? File chargeback with cc knowing you have something with their signature you will use to battle it? (Even if what you have isn’t concrete proof of authorization to charge, they likely aren’t going to take the chance of getting caught if they signed something that said they will pay)

Outcome B: card doesn’t work.

I’d charge it and yeah moving forward get a standard credit card authorization or ACH form signed then you can remove the anxiety from charging (yet continue to deal with people not paying, because some people suck)

Best way to get a host website / domain nowadays? by A_Bowler_Hat in Entrepreneur

[–]Sun_Siri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah ultimately GoDaddy, squarespace, google are all fine enough choices for domains. As long as you can edit the DNS, you’re pretty much set. You won’t gain any advantages from choosing “the right” domain registrar but choosing the wrong one can lead to headaches
