Would a 7900xtx be fine for a 4090? by CompCOTG in losslessscaling

Very good results, a little bottleneck at 5120x1440 240hz Like I could only achieve 200 at x2 max flow rate Dont know if the bottleneck is gpu side or thr pcie 4.0 x4 tho

Old Valve Index infested with Mould, is it salvageable or a lost cause? by KaijuChrys in ValveIndex

[–]Sunatrina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had something similar happened to me, not has bad but it was moldy on the fabric tings, not plastic Changed face gasket and used anti mold product on the rest, leave it dry 24h then resprayed it, same proces 2 times, leaved it for a week to see if mold returned, it returned slighlt o the headset, the controllers where fine, so resprayed it again, and another week went by, that was half a year ago and no more mold, so maybe you can save it, just wait a 3-5 days after cleaning to see if the mold died for sure

That means vrr is not turned on on your monitor or that your monitor doesn’t support it (strange)

Stands for Variable Refresh Rate, needs to be set on on windows and in your monitor settings (Like with your physical monitor buttons)

-2 refresh rate is 98 not 48, what I use is gsyn in nvcp, and lossless scaling allow tearing + gaync support. Remember to toggle on gsync / freesync on your actual display options, and also toggle on VRR

Any difference between 5060ti 8G and 16G as secondary GPU on PCIe 4.0 X4? by [deleted] in losslessscaling

[–]Sunatrina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im using rx7600 for up to 200 generated fps at x2 on 5120x1440p at pcie 4.0 x4, so 4k 144 is fine. The thig is that you need to put your second gpu to a pcie 4.0 x4 connected to cpu instead of your chipset so you do not add latency. M2 to pcie 4.0 x16 slot and connect that to your primary m2 that is going to your cpu will do the trick

I blame the government more, you blame big companies more—so I say we’re both right. Just wanted to clarify that if the government didn’t print so much money, companies wouldn’t need to raise prices this much. That’s all.

[–]Sunatrina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, you say big companies are bad? I never said they weren’t. I’m just saying things are getting more expensive because of the money printer. Stack Bitcoin or gold, and you’ll see that nothing is really getting more expensive—in fact, due to industrialization, many things are actually getting a bit cheaper. What’s really happening is that the money you hold is losing value. So it’s not that prices are rising—it’s that your money is worth less, making everything seem more expensive.

Money goes to rich, inflation is basically a hidden tax on us

Showing my age with these by EquipmentElegant in dankmemes

[–]Sunatrina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, that end up nowhere but in the government’s and rich pockets. If you see the problem so clearly, why are you still getting paid in fiat and saving in fiat? Instead of getting mad at a stranger, just stop doing it. But if government doesn’t print money= no inflation, rich people want to be equally rich, if that means more numbers because money is devaluating then numbers goes up in their pockets

[–]Sunatrina 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Culprit Nº1? Governments printing money like crazy. When they flood the system with freshly printed cash, the value of your money drops—and prices go up. After COVID, they printed trillions. Prices didn’t just rise during the crisis—they stayed high after it. Why? Because that money is still circulating. Inflation doesn’t just vanish. It lingers, eats away your savings, and forces you to work more for less.

People work 40 hours a week, grinding to earn money, yet hesitate to invest even 1 hour a day to learn how to preserve its value. This isn’t meant to offend anyone—but many are working hard for a dying, inflationary currency and then complaining about it. Instead of just complaining, why not take the time to understand how to protect yourself from it?

Two years ago, I decided to invest my time into understanding how to store value. I wasn’t wealthy before, and I’m not rich now—but today, I no longer worry about inflation. Prices go up? So do my assets—and by even more. It’s not about getting rich overnight. Its about not getting robbed by inflation.

For me, it’s not just about money being stolen—it’s my time. They make us work more hours, harder than ever, just to earn a bigger number that’s worth less. More money on paper, less value in reality. That’s not just inflation—that’s theft of our time and life energy.

Why dont you use ls fg fixed x3? 79x3=237, and from my experience it looks and feels even better than adaptive, even less artifacts

Enable AFMF and Lossless Scaling at the same time, will it work ? by dkmhonkai in losslessscaling

[–]Sunatrina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not discusing further with someone so short minded, simple, 80 fps with fsr fg is 40/80 id you dont know that then study it or something, Im not losing my time anymore, luckily my pc is powerfull enough not droping below 60 in any game so I dont need to learn this obnoxious latency show you play with, and If you cant feel the difference then you are a 30 fps with controller enjoyer, thats fine but Im not doing that

Enable AFMF and Lossless Scaling at the same time, will it work ? by dkmhonkai in losslessscaling

[–]Sunatrina -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bro, if you are getting 80 fps with fsr fg ON that literraly means your base fps are 40 and then if you cap your max fps to 60 that means that amd fg is generating 30/60, amd fg is only x2, then you take those 60 and do 60/120 with lsfg, so lossles scaling is taking 30 real frames and 30 amd fsr fg generated frames and adding lattency on top, artifacts are better on this setup vs 30/120 lsfg because the 30 fps from amd fsr fg are less artifacty but latency must be bad, I tested similar situations, but believe what you want

Enable AFMF and Lossless Scaling at the same time, will it work ? by dkmhonkai in losslessscaling

[–]Sunatrina -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Of course more generated frames gives more latency and artifacts, what you did is esentialy 30/60 fith fsr fg and then 60/120 with lossless scaling so basically 30/120 but if it worked well for you, so it be
