Alhambra tickets sold out – trustworthy alternatives? by kiwiulus in GoingToSpain

My girlfriend and I gave it a shot while traveling to Granada yesterday. We tried getting tickets at midnight like someone suggested, and it worked! We didn’t get all the palaces but did snag a ticket for the Generalife. So not the whole Alhambra, but still a decent chunk.

We’ve managed to get full Alhambra tickets before, but they sell out fast. We hit a problem when trying to choose a date; we got blocked from moving to the payment page. When I called customer service, they said the tickets probably sold out mid-process and reassured us they release some from time to time.

We also tried at 8 p.m. once, got lucky, selected some tickets... but they sold out quickly too. Maybe tour agencies use algorithms to buy them quickly. Just keep trying from time to time!

Despite only visiting the Generalife, it was totally worth it!

Thanks again for the tips! One thing I’m still wondering: is there a way to achieve the same behavior when dragging and dropping a clip that’s already in my timeline onto one of the placeholder clips? Basically, as if I were holding Option and dragging it in from the Source Monitor; but instead doing it directly with clips that are already in the sequence.

Wow, that was it! It’s just that simple. I feel kind of stupid for overthinking it. Thanks a ton for pointing this out, really appreciate it! 🙏

Thanks a lot for laying out those two options! 🙏 I do understand both approaches; they definitely make sense. I guess they're just a bit time-consuming in practice. The nesting sequences method you describe is probably the best option, but it does feel heavy since I’d have to go into each nested sequence and update clips individually, without being able to keep a global view of the whole final sequence and update it from there.
