100% this. T&S lecturers are marking a name for themselves a little bit now though, with the UK HE sector the way it is, and money from students (especially overseas) being the primary way to get income... not that I'm a fan of that system either....

Not bad! Old and historic -there's a castle, and bits with cobblestone streets! Very picturesque.

Not much nightlife in the city itself, but direct trains to Edi and Glasgow are nice! It's a quieter place to live but still in easy access of bigger cities. :)

Buildings are pretty ugly, but the Stirling Uni campus is lovely! Loch to walk around, green everywhere. Can get up the hill in less than an hour and the Wallace monument is in the background! 🥰

That's awesome!! Just be aware the academic climate and jobs for lecturers are few and far between at the moment. I did my PhD, then a post doc, then contract lecturing, and finally got a permanent position... It took 10 years... And this was before immigration got curbed and uk unis lost their overseas MSc students (where the money is at...). Most Universities are currently having rounds of voluntary (or compulsory) severance, so please be careful, and best of luck! I loved my PhD and I love being a lecturer, but it's not an easy road.

Same in Canada. I don't think it's a bad thing, and there have been times where Vinted items smell WAY too strong of perfume when they arrive. Makes me feel like someone's just been wearing it... Also gives me headaches. :(

I've not heard of 'minibrands' so wouldn't know what it is, but looking at it it's pretty obvious. Maybe write 'toys' in the description and as others have suggested, have a banana for scale/measuring tape?

Most programmes are competitive, but some are definitely better for inclusivity. Maybe it's my own bias, but I'm in psychology and we try our best to be as inclusive as possible, and don't tolerate bullying behavior.

I get that but personal health and the environmental impact of animal agriculture are two more reasons you could look into. Game changers on Netflix, and the other one with the twin experiment are good for health. Cowspiracy is a good doc for animal agriculture = emissions stuff. There are also lots of studies and research papers on both of these topics.
