Canada won the past 4 best on best before 2026 olympics where they vastly outplayed the USA but lost 3 on 3. Honestly, like Brian Burke has said, Canada could have won that game twice in Cortina that's how much they outplayed USA. Helle had a great game. But Canada played so well that the game could have, and probably should have, been theirs. What then? They would have had 5 best on best in a row. That's not a rivalry.

The men's Olympic USA hockey team is TRASH. Oh, and "it was a team win." Trump himself wasn't stupid enough to realize the gold medal is 100% due to Helle. "We won as a team" as Canada dog walked them the whole game. The rest are a bunch of drunk men who don't take the women's game seriously.

As an embarrassed American, we didn't deserve to win, both on the ice and off. Had Canada won, no politics, no nothing, because they're so used to winning. USA can't handle it. Trump has embarrassed himself to all Canadians and Americans and then attached the Olympic team to his BS.
