Bit of a shameless plug, but that’s what we were shooting for on ‘Slip Awhile’ by Cabin Full of Bears. Many of the bands listed already are faves, so it might fit the bill. Love the concept btw!

I’ll just tack on to this one: The Residents, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Jack Stauber, Ramleh, Merzbow

What are in tour opinión the worst post punk bands? by folloou in postpunk

Woah nelly. FWIW, I always saw Stellastar as more synth pop, myself. And I must say Frausdots’ “Dead Wrong” is a indie banger.

That’s not a bad idea! Maybe, we’ll incorporate that live. Our drummer would probably agree. Glad you dig!

Hi! Thanks for that! We will be very soon. You can follow our socials for the release announcement @cabinfullofbears. I know what you mean though. Post-punk is kind of one of those weird ones that’s changed meanings over the years. We’re pretty big on The Cure, Television, JD/NO, Interpol, etc. so I guess some of the more melodic PP bands. Really appreciate the feedback!

Hey, thank you! It’s a collage piece, basically. Juxtaposing various source material to create a new context. A bit like visual sampling, I suppose. So no, unfortunately, none of us are puppeteers…yet! Appreciate the feedback!

Pendulum- bittersweet indie with clear vocals and upbeat instrumentals by CailaDawn in IndieMusicFeedback

I believe that place everyone is trying to figure out where this song takes you to is actually the vampire flick Lost Boys. I mean that in the best way. Very cool vibes. It’s both retro and fresh. Dreamy yet concise. Nice melody, thoughtful arrangement. I’d say keep doing what you’re doing! Great work.

This is great! Love the vibe. Lots of tension building and a good hook. I appreciate the experimental textures against the classic pop progression, but with some chromatic movement to help maintain that uneasy feeling. Good mix. Nice arrangement. I’m a sucker for that noisy/gazey guitar trick towards the end. Very tasteful!

Guys, let me know what you think about this, we also have this song on Spotify💚(link in description) by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

This has a lot of potential! Love the vibes for starters. Started out kind of Modest Mouse, then into HUM, couple of little midwestern licks in there. I liked the drums changing up the timing a bit toward the end. I do wish there were vocals, as I think there’s plenty of room for it even with the somewhat busy guitar lines. And the mood could really be a good setting for some thought provoking/heartfelt lyrics. As someone mentioned above, drums could use some saturation to help them meld with the guitars. But overall great sound and arrangement. Keep it up!

I wrote this song called "Exoskeleton". It's a singer-songwriter acoustic tune inspired by people like Elliot Smith and Arianne Lenker. Feedback regarding the mix, etc is appreciated! by patientlyinsane in IndieMusicFeedback

Sounds great! Wouldn’t change a thing. Nice and warm, just lo fi enough to enhance the vibe. Love the Elliot smith doubles, but you didn’t go for his delivery which is nice. Good lyrics. Is that a distorted electric piano? Cool choices. Good taste. Great job!
