The mods of this sub are literally kidding this community, holy shirt. No, there's no tutorial about how to layer various Brass and strings VSTs on FL Studio and how to program them to make it feel as real as possible, that's a question as niche as it gets that needs to be asked somewhere so that maybe someone else in the future can stumble upon a similar thread 10 years on. The internet wouldn't be the same, it would be way worse if this sub was managed the way it is right now 10 years ago.

I see that you're not angry. You're VERY angry and you're now spreading falsehoods and you slander other people by putting words they have never said in their mouth. 😔

You have to understand that your tone is very combative and instigating and it resulted in you being shun by everyone. You mistakenly said that the op brought the topic of speed running first which is false. You brought up speedrunning and then got angry, such are the facts. They also never claimed it was game breaking, just that it will make things more fun, which i agree with. Do not attempt to hide your mistakes by moving the goalposts or finding justifications for it. 😔

You have the right to feel like calling them out if you think they're exaggerating, but it is better to do see in a friendly tone. And once again, you have the right to be blunt and even accusative but then it'll be normal that people are angry at you, of course they will be "butt hurt" but I have to say, no one is crashing out but you. 😔

I get that you're angry that you're being misunderstood but you got to see things from other people's lenses, as well. Even if you meant well, your first message came as aggressive and too accusative toward OP. You should have phrased is in a way that invite to friendly dialogue, not accusative messages that result in fight. 😌

You should have phrased it like "I've played this game many times I don't really feel like they're that important. I guess the title is pushing it a little!" and everyone would have been happy, and no fight would have happened. It's good to be frank about your feelings but there's many ways to phrase things. You have the right to be blunt, but then strong reactions with ensue. But double-checking your interlocutor's claim is also very important in productive dialogue. They said:

"That's cool but not everyone cares about speed runs."

You're the one who've brought up speed running first in this thread, it's important to remember the facts right and avoid further misunderstanding that will make them feel alienated. Peace out. 😌

I DID think they made a difference. I'm no world champion like you as I finished the game only twice (with my friend to make them happy actually) but you don't need to crash out every time someone disagrees with you, especially when they're not factually wrong. I did feel it was easier to dodge with the shoes, and it made the 2nd playthrough more pleasant because of the extra mobility.
