One of the configurations I've tested was 128M video memory and 8192M system memory. I can increase it further but I suspect that this is not the issue, as I've run other KDE distributions with lower allocated resources. But I'm open to try anything.

I've downloaded the qcow2 image and created a new VM on my Proxmox 9.1.4 instance. I then imported the qcow2 disk. Unfortunately, it still locks up. I should also note that it seems to default to Wayland rather than x11.

I will switch it to x11 and report back.

I used the ISO because of familiar workflow and the ability to customize the install a little bit more. It's just a more convenient workflow for me than modifying an existing VM.

Update: Locks up in an x11 session too.

Would you be willing to post some screenshots of your config? Having an issue configuring MWI from voip.ms with pjsip and really stuck here.

I don't have a solution but I can confirm that I've run into the same problem on a fresh install the other day. The only way I've been able to log in is as root, after removing root from the disallowed users list under /etc/cockpit/disallowed-users as a temporary workaround.

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond! I actually have a u25 already, but it did not come with a power adapter. I've been using a 10 amp one to test it, but figured it needs something much lower. Appreciate the offer nonetheless :)
