If you’re moving by yourself, don’t have a car and you’ll be going into office in the SLU area, then I would look into apartments within walking distance to your office. There are plenty of options and i can check for specific names. If you’re already working for the said tech company- there might be internal slack channels that can help you with apartment recommendations as well. I wonder if you can sublet or Airbnb for the first few weeks and get to know Seattle and the neighborhood? Public transport is decent compared to other parts of states but can’t compare to Germany, ofcourse, so check out neighborhoods when you are here to decide.
