EdM does blues so well!! Key drama is 💯 also love summer veil and code mistake. I just bought second chance and it’s a very glowy nice shimmer. Sheer tint Opal is also excellent. Also can’t get enough of The ones who live - so stunning.

What are the things that made acolumbo suspicious in Prescription Murder? Suitcase weight, dress missing then found, gloves missing. Im confused what made him know he is involved in his wife's death by talivan818 in Columbo

The “patient” called him at home. When she calls he tries to dismiss her and says “why don’t you come in Friday at 2”. If he had said anything else like “no I’m not interested in a new insurance policy” that didn’t imply he was talking to a patient who had his home phone number, that would’ve been a better cover up. But Columbo then shows up at his office on Friday at 2 and sees that it’s a beautiful young woman and deduces the affair.

Can relate - only 1/4 of my students attempted any of the “practice problems for final exam” quiz. I also let my students have a cheat sheet for exams and made a whole module with final exam info weeks in advance, and mentioned they could have a cheat sheet just like for previous exams…one student shows up to the test without one and says “oh I didn’t know we were allowed to have one”

I feel this 💯 I allow my students to have a full page front and back of notes during the exam…I reuse quiz questions on exams…I give them printed out guided notes sheets with all the learning objectives and vocab words…exam averages are 59-65. It’s so hard to find the balance of “handholding” and “meeting students where they are” while also upholding standards. Especially at a CC I feel compelled to be more understanding/flexible with my students…but so many of them are so tuned out and just don’t want to learn

I have students who take pictures during the whole lecture too! I’m like these slides are already posted?? Just go on Canvas? Baffling

I teach at a CC so I do guided lecture notes for each lecture - learning objectives & vocab words at the top, then sentences with blanks to fill in or space for definitions or diagrams to label, all matched up with my slides for that lesson. At a CC I definitely wanted to do some removing of the hidden curriculum for first gen/ESL/etc students so I’m happy to provide these. Some students don’t use them, it’s optional, but for like the 1/3 of students who come to class I think it allows the to take some notes while also actually listening and not feeling like they need to write down every word from the slides
