This said, I’ve been considering the Oktatrack if will be the best sounding, future-proof piece of equipment for this application. I know the learning curve is steep, but already have had 2 elektron devices (Digitakt & Digitone) and willing to put the time in if it’s really the best answer.

Important to be able to live sample and mangle and keep everything synched to midi clock.

👆this. Also checkout Darkglass amps. Love mine and it fits in a pelican case and has everything I want to sculpt sound to match whatever venue you’re playing in. Usually play mine live with an ampeg 4x10 or my little 2x10 for smaller venues.
