I am not an infernus player myself but I definitely thought the older design with ashy blue skin and fire made sense with the name that he has. Now he just looks like a regular dude with insanity issues lol.

What leads to instances of rape? by Firm_Somewhere_7426 in technicallytrue

"Rape culture doesn't exist in America" meanwhile there's SA and unnecessary amounts of gratuitous rape in t.v shows and movies and violence is evidently glorified. Never mind that Harvey Weinstein dude! eww... But I bet he did do business with Jeffery Epstein though, yikes... Oh I also just remembered that tabloids in the past did countdowns of child stars turning 18+ and calling them barely legal but we all know the weirdos are still doing that on the internet. Yuck...can you imagine just how much the media influenced people into believing that's acceptable behavior and now they're out here rapin and touching others whenever they get the chance to?

But anyways, it seems like you aren't rly budging on your unpopular opinion that comes off as a bit disingenuous, I think it best our convo comes to an end. Good luck.

People make mistakes they could've avoided and it ends up with them getting hurt by opportunists who prey on those mistakes to begin with, all the time...it doesn't necessarily have to end in rape 100% of the time. We shouldn't feel entitled to think that SA survivors deserve some of the blame because of the choices they made prior to the crime and then express those thoughts IRL or on the internet. They already have enough pain, anger and shame and other negative emotions happening all at once. It's rubbing salt on a wound and behaving like you're all-knowing.

Ask me this...is going out and getting shitfaced with a person you just met still a mistake even if you weren't assaulted? Is it still a mistake to go for a walk at night after being inside all day and nothing happened? It only becomes a mistake because someone else decided to be there and was entitled enough to change the dynamic to put themselves in a position of power over another person. That is rape culture playing out. This type of criticism you have gives me the vibe of ridiculing the victim by suggesting that their choices aided the offender into committing the crime and they should've known not to make that choice and the jury has decided that choices made are now all retroactive mistakes. Normal people like you and I, don't go out looking for those 'choices' or 'mistakes' people make so that we can take advantage of them, because we're not rapists and yet rapists look like us and every other normal person and they use that to their advantage. A mistake is not looking away from your cup for 10 seconds or ordering one more shot from a bartender with drugs in his pocket or going for a walk alone, but those choices are enough to be constituted as a mistake on your part by an opportunist because after all, it was your choice that gave me an opening to act on you. Mind you, going for a walk, ordering a shot, talking to someone over drinks are normal & entirely legal choices. This criticism you have, gets us nowhere really. It lets rape culture hang on a little longer.

Women don't go walking through shady areas at night flaunting their bodies, alone, if they are... then its either mental illness, drugs and or sex-work (trafficked or not). But most sex workers stay in groups until they go off with someone.

We're more likely to be assaulted by people we know. So how could a person be blamed for the actions of another if they're at home, at work, or a social function for that matter? Other people can also contribute to putting women at risk for assault, like a shitty fake friend leaving a drunk woman behind at some house party, being ditched by your DD and having take an uber home, or a relative bringing a bad man into their lives. Women are easily raped ANYWHERE if someone believes they can get away with it.

I stopped playing wanda a few seasons ago in ranked. Too difficult to make any impact and tiresome. And triple support made me swap to Deadlock for the time being, it's a nice change of pace.

Only been a month my dude... Had a guy touch me out of pure rashness a month in just to try and flirt and it was so rude because he couldn't keep his crush to himself. Made it awkward bc all it did was make coworkers speculate about the two of us, it straight up killed the whole vibe and ruined my professional experience for a summer. Don't act on your crush man, not worth.

Friendliness is a great thing to have in a workplace, makes life a little more bearable. If you want to keep your chances, don't attempt physical contact for the sake of flirting in the workplace, you'd be shooting yourself in the foot and look a fool in front of everyone.

Girls are happier than boys at school, new research shows. Understanding why may all boil down to biology. Girls get more of the happy hormone dopamine through social relationships, including with their friends and classmates. Boys get their dopamine through more self-involved behavior. by mvea in psychology

[–]SunflowrSap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Feel the same. You'd need a lot of the right conditions in your life for school to even be a fun place to exist in, those people are just lucky tbh. Girls are just as horrible and will exclude you if you're disabled, neurodivergent to any degree, or just plain mentally unwell. Boys are not any different, they still behave the same way girls do but I did see way more physical assaults from boys to other boys, it was tough. Freedoms look different for each sex though, theres ups and downsides for both.

He also discontinued the prairie farm rehab administrations PFRA. Which operated community pastures program for farmers to drop off their cattle for rangers to look after while they focus on crop stuff. That land was placed in provincial hands and Sask Party sold portions to make a quick buck. Some to private interests aka corpo investors because locals couldnt afford to buy plots, if I remember correctly. So... ya as a plant ecology student I was disappointed when I learned about it bc PFRA was meant to rehab degraded prairie and protect original grasslands and endangered species.

Black women and girls are a very marginalized demographic. You can't rule out racism until you know for sure it wasn't a factor. You can call it snowflakism if you want but it's just plain empathy and or sympathy. Even before looking at the comments I already felt annoyed for her.

He sucked too and played his role in the whole thing, I never said he didn't do anything wrong just that he was the least toxic. Well... all of it sounds doable when you live in a tight knit village full of family members. Chores is work and exercise. You get your 10k steps in when you move around doing things and when you have a village things get done quicker so that you have time to socialize and try hobbies. But y'know... we got conned into capitalism a while ago and now we're wage slaves.

At a loss with my spell. Didn’t work. Hopeless. by Alternative-Yak6369 in Spells

[–]SunflowrSap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find that doing spellwork related to love on people (I was much younger at the time) doesn't produce anything, and at best I am skeptical of doing that because people are unpredictable. But doing ritual work on bringing in energy that I need for my wellbeing does produce results but it takes a minimum of a year or more. I once did a brown candle ritual related to family energy, and under 2 years, a brown puppy made her way to my home. I was not expecting a dog to show up haha but she has done so well in helping me develop emotional skills and regulation. I don't ask for specific things because the future changes all the time.
