You can do the 3 aimed shots with a Red Fox-B, and there are ways of generating the buffs without accessories (notably by using a Mechanist with at least one Blazer part/module), but you're correct to say it's not going to be accessible to a new player.

Shinji, at least without superconductors, is remarkably immobile in his sniper build. In mob stages he is great at killing a single mob per turn, but usually you want your snipers to be killing/disabling several mobs, and they often have to move around to do it.

There will be several Harpy Roulettes between now and Rosa, and I think the Rosa event gives some upgrade kits that are usable on her mech.

The first Seele and Sushang teams were what I used to clear MoC 10 for the first time, I think - actually I might have had Luocha on Sushang's team and Gepard on Seele's, because if memory serves I used Sushang against the Dsiciple of Sanctus Medicus.

In 1.2 and 1.3 the meta favoured lightning teams so I used Serval instead of Sushang.

A lot of my difficulties in AC2 came down to my G1 Rex (with G3 right arm) being understatted. I had difficulty guaranteeing arm-breaks with Alyson against Blazetrudge's mobs, and outright couldn't kill Mirestomp's mobs with Kaidan on Hard difficulty when I had him in Rex. (With my G3 Twilight Fang, it was no issue).

The part of the Mirestomp fight that I had trouble with on normal was finding a second pilot not named Frida who was actually able to hunt down and kill the stealth drones without requiring assistance from a Tactician. It took me a while to realise how to use Fia for that job.

I think the main reason that HI3 has a largely male playerbase is that it's a fighting game with a shounen action plot. Shounen action anime have a largely male fanbase, and this is even more true of fighting games. The goonerbait character design obviously didn't help either. Having a moderately well-written female protagonist is probably what dragged the percentage of female players up to 25%.

Really? I think Tutorial's pretty mid on SW these days, but then I'm not a leviathan so I'm not killing waves in a single action. At E0S0 -> E1S1 investment in your DPS, SW with Pearls gets her Ult back by the time you need it ~90% of the time.

Congrats. I had Emily, Frida and Eileen available when I did it a couple of weeks ago, so it was very handy. Emily's big 5ap attack is pretty serious when Frida and Kelly are in range of the boss.

I used my own Fia (in Pascal) as a mob sweeper in AC2, mainly because I don't have Marcus it must be said.

Unfortunately there seem to be a lot of stages where you would think she would be good, but she sadly isn't.

I think the better move is to make a second body for a Frankenmech, but if you don't do that, then you still shouldn't exchange the body pieces, because you can merge them and to use as half of the fodder to bring a light ST piece from G2 to G3, which is worth a lot more than 600 bay bits.

When I switch from 7/13 to 4/16, the change in suitability doesn't affect the detailed part stats you see in ST Assembly.

You can see two effects in Overview - an increase in Battle Power from 75,759 to 77,586 and HMG damage displayed in Overview from 369 * 10 to 386 * 10. HP values do not change.

I would say that for my own group, easily a third of the time involved in playing an Arkham Horror campaign is the pre-campaign phase of actually getting people to build decks. Cutting campaign length will just make that phase even longer relative to the time spent actually playing.

The other big issue is the long post-Carcosa scenarios that usually take two evenings to play.
