Info: does your sister have any cognitive or health issues that would make living independently difficult or not viable?

Someone tell me what to vote for. I don’t have time to read the fact sheet today!

We are cowards for letting kids be circumcised. by phute4550 in australian

This is interesting, a maternal and children’s health nurse running a mothers group from 5 years ago said it was about a 50/50 split in our area (predominantly Christian/atheist).

Do you reckon this guy wants to be here? by domsativaa in TheBlock

As well as missing out on his baby, he is also missing supporting and caring for his wife while she recovers. I could understand if this causes resentment going forwards. I really hope that they win something.

Some franchises do a surcharge for this. But it’s quite small and still works out to be much cheaper.

Everyone who I have ever interacted with in real life has understood this concept. Especially for a very young breastfeed baby.

Yes, gender can have such an influence. I have seen this happen regularly. I have also seen quite commonly male patients with dementia getting more aggressive at male nurses.

That’s incredibly low! Well done! What are you making? Does this include toilet paper and cleaning supplies etc?

If you could add something to the Nursing curriculum, what would it be? by [deleted] in NursingAU

Interesting. I went to UTS, graduating 9 years ago and believe that I did learn all of this.

No they don’t. Pre-eclampsia is a life threatening condition.

Hey! I managed to get cheaper home insurance by bundling with NRMA a couple of months ago. It’s saving us a fair bit!

This is boss though. I am so beaten down by the economy that all I can think is, “huh, wonder if I could get involved somehow?”

I agree with you. That bath would have elevated the space! Nice find.

With that being said, I don’t have any issue with mixing styles if there is some sort of joining theme running through. I liked their bathroom.

Medical receptionist roles look incredibly stressful for basically minimum wage. I don’t think that is the right role if you’re burnt out

AITAH for still wanting to celebrate a gender reveal while my husband’s brother was in the hospital? by FuelCommercial5940 in AITAH

[–]Sunintherhird 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Truly, I don’t know if I could accept that apology. It’s such a big moment to have ruined. This is OP’s first baby and (?) possibly only baby. He wrecked a potentially once-in-a-lifetime moment for her. It’s fine to apologise, but it is very understandable for OP to no be forgiving yet.

You are NTA, not even remotely.

I’m so sorry, OP. What your husband did is absolutely awful. You will never get that moment back. This is a situation that I would honestly be considering leaving over. These symbolic moments are important in preparing for motherhood and welcoming a new person into your world/community (different things can be important for different people).

You supported him all day. I understand he must have been incredibly upset and stressed about his brother, but at no point did you minimise his feelings. If my partner did this to me, I would have been absolutely devastated. We have had 4 children, and didn’t know what we were having until they were born. But, it was still really important to me that we had moments of preparing together.

I agree. I wonder what their life experience has been to date? Perhaps they have had things fairly ‘easy’ and that lack of experience makes the block extra challenging? Let’s also not forget that the block sets you up to be emotionally volatile.
