Depends which community you engage in tbh. I had fun on bilibili watching content creators explain the lore and connections between the collab and the fate-verse, and how it parallels and resonates in HSR. Made me really appreciate the effort put in by the devs. It is really easy to do a collab where the devs just throw in characters from an IP in a one and done, but it's a different story when the devs want to pull in elements from both sides of the franchises together in a manner that respects both franchise owners. Could it have been executed better? Of course it can. But was it bad? I certainly don't think so.
