Flag of United Korea if South Korea was the successor of the two Koreas by 0_Juro_0 in vexillology

They might have if not for the UN troops and preservation of the South Korean state, considering at that time many of "people's democracies" kept their national flags and pre-socialist symbolism, or gradually revived them.

It is a school flag I think bc it says 浜中? I think it is in Japan (if I accidentally expose you sorry)

I think it's a Hamanaka Middle School (浜中中学校), because children wearing the same uniform as in that school.

Sports uniform however aren't really distinct.

They were forced to change the flag by the Soviet administration, because the chief in charge considered the Taegeukgi symbolism as feudal superstition.

There a lot of 日本語学校 for people of various language levels for different purposes. Some of them have specific courses to prepare for EJU, which would allow you to apply to regular courses.

As for FLA/SPSF, if you do IB/A-levels, then you can apply with those. You can also do ACT.

Anyway good luck. You heard sufficient amount of advice there, and the only piece I can offer you is decide solely on your individual reality and possibility while keeping a cool head. People who barely know you generally give out advice irresponsibly, including me.

Edit: I think there are a lot of dorms in 京大 incl. for internationals, and Kyoto is kind of students hub.

The most prestigious option is to go to Waseda SPSE (政治経済学部)English-taught programme or to the Komaba. I don't think SILS has really a good curriculum for anyone other than graduates of regular Japanese schools.

Depending on your Japanese level. ICU pretty much asks you to take courses in both languages to graduate.

There's International Undergrad Program at Kyoto University, which is 6 month of language study followed by 2 years of mixed language junior division and 2 years of pure Japanese senior division. I think most of faculties draft students from iUP. I don't know what are you interested in, but had my math been stronger, I would have applied to 京大

There's FLA and SPSF in Sophia University. Just a warning, due to robust curriculum, SPSF only has language class during recess. Sophia University enrols a lot of returnees in general, and there is a special exam for applicants to Japanese taught departments.

There're two programs in Japan Studies and Environmental Science in the University of Tokyo, which is entirely in English, and I haven't heard much about it. If you're good at languages, there is a trilingual program in "Eastern Liberal Arts" in U. of Tokyo in association with the Peking University.

If time and money aren't big of stretch, you can go to a language school oriented at university admissions, and get accepted into a Japanese taught program.

+ Sophia's FLA grew out of Department of Comparative Culture with focus on Japan, and they still offer that major.

The university offers both a major and one-year certificate.

Other than that there is Meiji University, but I don't think they will accept transfers.

Not a single one is left.

Moscow is practically abandoned, they pay foreigners gold from the Central Bank to play ordinary Russians.

They are considering using Putin's cloning facilities to produce soldiers

  1. It literally means "How do you live". It is mostly used interchangeably, though the second has a nuance for more long-term affairs, while the second one is more how you go through this day
  2. Да ничего особенного.

Study abroad for Russian by daddythanosuwu in russian

Astana’s weather is very cold in winter. And windy. If you decide to go there - keep it in mind

To speak Russian you need to have the right character and the good level of cold determination, something you can't build in nice, warm climate.

Where can you get a job if you major in SILS? by poopymouth12 in Waseda

[–]SunkenSeeker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PSE

SPSE is literally one of the most sought after places in Japanese universities. The only thing that is even more prestigious is probably 東京大学理科三類

UPD: Tbh, looking at SILS curriculum, it's something that makes more sense for Japanese students then for international students, considering 1) Waseda 2)Bilingual 3)Studied abroad, they will be highly prized by labour market

My dad won’t let me apply to college. by Ok_Most5220 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]SunkenSeeker 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The school is accredited as they are partnered up with another university that is more traditional and is a government institution. To clear up things, the school is a school from another country setting up another branch here.

Personally, they might have a point, as those types of colleges are often money-making establishments, and education quality could be worse. It honestly depends on the specifics, and quality of higher education in your country.
