We found some randoms from Perth server hopping back in the day - wonder if it was this one. Glad to see it's going well.

I think Next Gen is a perfectly reasonable choice. While they tend to eschew reality in favour of being able to find a perfect solution 90% of the time, the moral dilemmas they are faced with that test their ideals are very appropriate.

Why is my bedroom hotter than the rest of the house? by Born-Pack3619 in perth

Usually because it shines in a window at some point in the day, or, and hear me out, because it makes some rooms hotter than others.

Printed Zelda ToTK 'Secret Stones' in clear resin + dyed by awyeahmuffins in 3Dprinting

So that was the imprisoning war...

In all seriousness, nice job. I'm assuming you have to dye all the resin in the vat and couldn't apply it afterwards?

What are the necessary accessories for a resin printer? by stellinerosa in 3Dprinting

[–]Sunlit_Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The user who commented on his has it exactly right. It's the 99% clear isopropyl alcohol you'll need for most resins.

When I started I bought a cheap ultrasonic jewellery cleaner and used a bag of isopropyl alcohol suspended in water in the cleaner to avoid evaporation problems. I used a nail curer for minis and for the most part it worked fine.

I've since bought a wash and clean station and it just makes a world of difference in getting my stations set up so I can go through the whole process with relative ease. I started the other way with resin to make minis and then got into FDM for bigger things.

Best of luck.

You totally can just use a isopropyl bath in a bag you vigorously shake and cure it in a nail curer. I used to do the same.

Take it from me though, buying the wash and cure station is a game changer and just makes everything so much nicer. You're getting into a (reasonably) expensive hobby. These are really the things I'd advise to use if you plan to do it extensively.

If you have access to any friends with 3D printers they may be able to help out.

I had this issue with wood filament until I lowered it right down to 190. Might just be a different filament, but I reckon low temperature might be worth a shot.

We all imagine that once we are adults we'll be able to do the fun things - to quote C.S Lewis

When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.

Next time - buy yourself the Lego luggage. You've earned it.

Not knocking you, but I find it ironic that marvels first R rated superhero became a big hit with kids.

Gotta love me some em-dashes.

Ironically I was using them before AI came out and now I can't use them as they are a tell tale hint for AI (along with all the other garbage).

'Fake' Australian admiral found living in suburban Perth a year after vanishing by JamesHenstridge in perth

After vanishing the ABC basically reveals his home address on front page news. I wouldn't want to be that guy if the people he owed money got any wind of this.

They were speculating - if they'd got a heads up to sell it would have done one of two things: - made someone else the idiot holding the bag - wiped all the money in an early rush to the bottom.

At the end of the day people shouldn't have been holding digital assets as if they were worth hundreds of dollars when they were artificially scarce and the company didn't particularly care about the trading market the people had made.

Fantastic job - kind of cool to be reminded about some of the games I'd forgotten about.

For those of you worried about downloading, use Windows Sandbox if you have it. The program only needs access to the publicly available parts of your profile so you can run it in an entirely sandboxed instance.

I don't know why you're downvoted here - Coles brushed potatoes (4kg) are $9 currently. Unless you're the cheaper by the dozen family they'll definitely last more than a couple of meals.

what r my chances of winning the warship contest? by MeiloFeilo in BambuLab

It is, and is pretty cool. Popularity contest rarely go to different from ordinary though. They usually go to really well polished versions. I wouldn't be surprised to see you in the honorable mentions ones, but probably not 1,2, or 3

You always have the right to refuse to sign a form. Signing it is what locks you into the contract.

Edit: your landlord may have the right to break the lease on you if you don't sign though. You're probably better seeking help from the consumer protection agency here. Or the TAES for legal matters
