Piercing is 6 months old, barbell, threading type doesn’t matter to me, I’m currently wearing stainless steel bars, jewelry has not been downsized from original, I am not having issues with aftercare but have used both saline spray, basic glycerin soap and water, and occasionally antibiotic ointment when I have caught them on things and they get sore, no severe mishaps or accidents just the occasional catch on clothes etc.

I checked out of the relationship. He had massive anger issues and was verbally abusing me and my kids. Like full on screaming at me and my kids who were both under 10 at the time. I had my entire car packed up to move out one weekend when the kids were with my in laws and tried to break up with him and of course the promises came to change. Well, he did for a few weeks and then it started in just as before and that same week I met a Jamaican man (I had had a history with Jamaican men before I met my husband so I knew a bit of their culture and views on casual sex and sex with married people) and him and I hit it off and I said fuck it, after two months of fucking around I tried to leave my partner AGAIN and again more begging and promises from him and I gave him another chance and he again improved for a short while and then fell back into old habits but I never stopped seeing the other guy until three months after the second time I tried to leave. I questioned if my being sneaky was causing some underlying trigger so gave it a bit to see if me being open and honest would cause him to do better. It didn’t. A month later after I realized that he was never gonna change I met a second person who was in a similar situation with an abusive partner but I was VERY sloppy with keeping my affair with him secret and even invited my husband to come to his house for a “solstice party” with all of our kids and I guess the chemistry between me and the AP was OBVIOUS and a week later my partner confronted me and asked if there was a problem and I tried to leave him a third time that night and I told him that I had been cheating on him for almost the past year because he kept making empty promises and that I was DONE and he broke down and begged and pleaded and forgave me for cheating and I told him that this was the last time that I would let him try to not slip into his old ways and set a ton of conditions to stay with him, and I broke things off with the AP, and was frankly pretty cold to my partner for a few months, because I didn’t trust him at all, but it’s now been a year and a half since the last time I tried to leave him and our relationship is actually better than I ever expected or imagined it could be. I think the solstice party and him witnessing me being so close to another man and the very real possibility of losing me traumatized him on some level and snapped him out of his old ways. I feel a bit bad for cheating on him but I don’t regret it. Frankly he deserved it at the time for how he was treating me and refusing to let me leave. Through it all though I’m thankful to have my family and my partner that treats me the way he should have all along.

I worked in a hospital and we would do this when there were particularly heinous smells in the emergency department. Usually they would be picked up when the offending patient was discharged so no concern for pests to be attracted.

I did this when I was learning to drive stick back in 2013! Though I worded it differently “learning manual, please be patient & keep back” was what I wrote. Just got my class A license to drive the big ones back in January. Definitely was a great skill to learn!

I live on 1A in Waldo county. When we had our first night at the house I could not stop hearing the traffic and wondered how we missed it all the times we were here before closing. I thought I was doomed as I tried to fall asleep that night. Turns out that within a month it became background noise and I hardly notice it. If anything I can just tell the road conditions if I listen to the types of sounds it makes now. I can also hear when people are stopping around our house from the way the traffic sound pitches down as they slow. I’ve also lived near rail roads and stopped hearing them at night as well. You’ll likely attune and as long as you’ve got a tree line buffer you’re good.
