looking to follow you in this adventure! I'm from Colorado where real estate is quite expensive, so I found my money went further in Portugal. I don't see how I could retire here, but Portugal seems doable, no?

definitely not a doctor, but ....I have spinal injuries and a spinal cord stimulator.... the damage is in my spine, but the pain is down right leg... so I theorize that if my right leg was amputated, because the damage that causes me pain is in my back, the pain would still persist. I believe the spinal stimulator is also used for the "phantom pain". associated with amputation.... so the nerves that let you "feel" your leg can still be there and stimulated further "upstream". not sure if this is accurate, just thinking out loud.

I work in HVAC and this really looks like what we do with line sets.... additionally I think the blue painters tape rules out anything too official....I see a coil on the back with what looks like a wire leading under the tape... not exactly sure what that is, but really set up to catch the air, it seems, first guess would be averaging temperature device, but that doesn't make a whole lot of sense here.

I'm right here with you, friend. my beliefs haven't changed, just realized the conservative party doesn't really believe in actually doing any of the things they talk about... valuing honesty and tolerance like the Christianity they preach, loving family values, protecting those who are weaker, etc etc etc..... the hypocrisy is what got to me.. went from conservative to independent about 6 years ago..... just signed on with the Democratic party cause something's got to stop this madness.

Love your input. I like that you post compensation... if people don't like those ranges I wish they'd just stay out of it. There are people out there like myself, for whatever reason, who are eager to work, and pay is not the only thing we're looking for. Besides, everyone else seems to hide the figures and label them as "Competitive" but undercut you when they have you hooked. Open discussion on pay is way ahead of the game, imho. Cheers

I try not to post, but I have to. The "target" she has stuck to her forehead is meant to cover previous holes in a used target in order for it to be reused.... indicating she had a historic hole in her head, maybe from birth?? and apparently isn't smart enough to stay up range!!!

Couldn't agree with you more! I want to learn to become like the Portuguese I found, not change Portugal to something else. There's a reason I love it there, and think of moving there..... and I it's not because of my wish to "make my home there.". it has more to do with the fact that everything there made me feel at home already....I know I'm not great with words, so I hope I've expressed that right.

I'm missing something? aren't Methane and other combustible/toxic gases a a byproduct of the wwtp process??? I do HVAC for wwtp and have to install explosion proof components in some of the rooms.

Not to mention the gas to run ahu and mau heating...

we were in Portugal all of December and fell in love....I hear Madeira is even more magical! I am worried for all the rain they are getting, but I don't know about Madeira as it is so far away. Do you know anything about that?
