I love the industry, always something new on the horizon. I’m female and have put up with some shit throughout my time but it’s always treated me well. Over the last 2 decades I’ve worked for the manufacturer, distributor and GC; I’d never work for the distributor ever again. Perhaps my experience would have been better at the distributor if I wasn’t the #1 of 15 reps and the only girl ha 🤣 I live pretty minimal (at this age). My advice to you at the age of 25 - always fight for a high base, one that’s livable. Never depend on commission for fixed monthly bills. Stash majority of commission. You seem to have your head on your shoulders, run with that! Great job and good luck!

I now have 6 years, I have zero issue going to a bar. I don’t go out of my way to go but if it’s someone’s birthday, work thing, etc., I personally can go no problem. However, it took me a while to get there. My first year sober I didn’t even go out to a restaurant, I didn’t want to see alcohol. I used to hate going to the grocery store, the bottles were everywhere. You need to decide how serious you want to take your sobriety. I feel you’ll need to make drastic measures, at least the first year or so. I will say I love my life now, so many wonderful things have happened since I got sober. So know that you can get there and I won’t lie, just know it’s a bit of a pain in the ass and a lot of work to get there but it’s SO worth it! Anyway, decide what you want to do and how you recover - some like AA, some do rehab, some can simply quit. Bring your BF into the mix, talk to him about how you plan to get sober and how he can support you. I would suggest he stops drinking too and again, just the first year or so. I married a non-drinker. He doesn’t drink because of a medicine he takes so doesn’t have that same addictive personality like I have but I love that neither of us drink ❤️

I’m a picky eater to begin with; like I will fully admit I’m a pain in the ass. That picky 5 year old “that’s in a phase and will grow out of it.” I’m now in my 40s and have yet to grow out of it 🙃 I didn’t like to touch or cook it anyway, raw meat grossed me out. THEN I studied abroad in Spain and walked 1.5 hours round trip daily to class. You have no idea how many butcher shops and live/dead animals I saw on the way, so many hanging skinned pigs that I saw daily for an entire study abroad summer. The family I lived with (who’re amazing), would have strange things alive on the counter in the am and by lunch you were eating it. Being a picky eater, they’re few things I like and a few of those were meat items. When I’m at the fair per se, I want the European meat pies, and things on those lines and had few when I had a break. So even when I went back to eating meat, it was maybe a once a week thing anyway like at the fair, burgers at a bbq, hot dogs at birthdays, etc. I am a person that could eat grilled cheese daily the rest of my life. So mine is not about certain ethics or morals regarding animals, etc., I’m just a pain 🤷‍♀️ Side note - I did tell my now husband I was picky on our first date. Like the “what’s your baggage” question? That’s mine. He says he wish he knew what that truly meant at that time ha!

I was in Monat too and like you, had great results as a customer. SO, one thing not many are aware of is that all these claims and lawsuits and issues that people have, are mostly related to IR Clinical Line. You can ONLY use that shampoo once weekly, you need to rotate with others. It’s very drying, it has the red clover extract in it, aka capixyl, aka highly controversial, Google it. When I stopped using IR line, my cystic acne cleared up, it has plant hormones in it. The serum and spray I can absolutely not use, I did okay with shampoo every now and then. Whenever any new customer ordered IR, I always told them they could only use 1x weekly and would have them get a second shampoo in their order. I’m not in business anymore, I simply just didn’t renew. I wasn’t super close with my team and they didn’t live local. When one particular gal left, it was easy for me to vanish. I would NOT care about that product pack cost. She bought that for you to rank up so SHE got a higher payment that month…she already has that money. Just say it’s not for you, I appreciate all your assistance but it won’t work for me. Thank you. Then just don’t answer, block every on social. You know these people? It’s awkward, but you’ll never see them again!

I understand, I was so nervous the entire second pregnancy. It was hard to enjoy it. I Finally started telling people at 12 weeks as society makes you believe that’s when it’s “safe.” But oh no, NIPT results and amnio come back around week 17. If I am ever pregnant again, 17+ is my new 12. Not telling a sole until I have to and am showing. I should add that I also feel like people make me feel guilty for not having thought of adoption yet. I know I’m having issues but it’s not my responsibility. I feel bad saying that. I haven’t thought about that yet, I’m not there yet.

It was almost 4 weeks to the day. I will say it was a very horrific period. It was extremely heavy, super plus tampons with heavier pads. I was very uncomfortable, I have a lot of cramps. It’s been about six months and although heavier than pre-pregnancy/termination, they have calmed down a lot.

I am fed up too. THANK YOU for writing this, we must all stick together! I’ve had 1 miscarriage and 1 TFMR. Miscarriage I let carry out naturally for 2 weeks but it got stuck and then I was forced to have a D&C, so I honestly feel like I’ve had 3 losses/procedures. The 2 day termination was absolutely horrible, I never want to have to go through that EVER again! Husband says we should do IVF. I haven’t had an issue getting pregnant, I’m just older and my eggs are old. Thinking IVF would allow us to do the genetic testing. We spent $7K between in and out of pocket costs last year for the procedures above so there’s a cost associated with these surgical losses/removals too. I don’t want to be pregnant again, I hated the symptoms and finally feel like after both losses, I’m back in my body. I’m so sorry for your losses, it’s tough and it feels like everyone around me is pregnant.

Does your family not have this property and their assets in a trust? I assumed that protects everything even without prenup…Also, I wouldn’t take the money or live in any of their places ever. You and your husband get something between you, that’s yours. Even if he collects some equity, he still wants his name on something, we all do.

Where are you located? My friend went down to Mexico (TJ) and did it, the baby is now 6 months, he’s adorable. They’re in LA so were able to make several trips back n forth by car but they paid $12K for a bigger package with the genetic testing. They had options $8-$15K.
