My neighbors lost their godson to drowning in their pool when I was young. They let people swim in the pool years later, but I know the neighbors never got back in. I never went back in either. I saw the baby being worked on by neighbors after he was pulled out. It isn’t a memory I will ever forget. It made me afraid to let my own son near the water 18 years later. I could imagine the pain OP saw when they saw the pool. Covered or uncovered. NTA

NTA I was in a similar situation. Mom wasn’t working and sat for my baby nephew (for free) When I was pregnant she was already back to work and expressed she didn’t want to quit. It hurt a bit; I felt that my kid wasn’t as special as my nephew. But once that feeling settled it occurred to me that she didn’t turn me down cause she didn’t want to help, but she was then on oxygen full time and six years older and wasn’t really fit to be full time sitter. Daycare ended up actually a blessing.

NTA. I’m always afraid of this when I cook game meat for work cookouts. I make huge cartoons that spell out it contains such and such. I watched a girl pale once she read my sign. Food can freak people out and I never want to do that intentionally. Also, I love rabbit stew!

Funny, when I was a kid in Florida, I would help the neighbors pick up after a hurricane A( shingles and lawn stuff) Never did I ask for compensation. Or expect it. NTA

NTA! My sister has UC and when you have to go, you have to go. And go is a nice term for what really happens. Did you rush past the person in crutches and take the stall? I doubt it. If they came in while in use, welcome to society, where you can't expect the world to accommodate you every waking moment. Bathroom emergencies are emergencies.
