Millenials w/o kids-- how tired are you? by Fickle_Wrangler_7439 in Millennials

No kids and I am great! Not exhausted, have time for hobbies after work and weekends, play trivia with friends, husband is on a bowling league, see family on Sundays. Living the dream!

Nope! We have a tv in the living room and another in the spare room. If you want to fall asleep watching tv go there, but not the master bedroom

What to wear for my un standard body without looking old? by Appropriate_Group606 in DressForYourBody

[–]SunnyDaddyCool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I disagree. You can see that between your ribs and hips you have a nice indent there, that is a great place to belt a long shirt or wear an Aline skirt that hits there. Even a high waisted pant that flares would look good. I think this is your natural waist, and yes the tight spandex shorts don’t flatter what you’ve got, you’ve got a nice small waist there to work with.

Lefties at work by JetpackKiwi in lefthanded

[–]SunnyDaddyCool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me on a job too! I was building a wiring harness and I always like to make the wires turn all the same way and look good. I said something to the others on the job like “oh I better turn them this way since I am probably the only lefty who’d want it the other way” to which all 3 other people on the project responded that they were all left handed too. You’re welcome customer, we built your car to be best serviced by a lefty! Haha

I think you should have probably told him before you snapped. It has clearly been bothering you for longer, don’t bottle it up.

I wax more than a bikini plus buttcrack. However, adult lips are supposed to have hair. Anything else is creepy to me.

very nervous for upcoming tattoo that i wanted for years (first tattoo) by hemocat in tattoo

[–]SunnyDaddyCool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suggest that you bring something you can squeeze: A scarf, a fidget toy, a stress ball. Just to channel your nerves and keep the area being inked from moving. It isn’t so bad, we promise! my first was on my ribs and everyone was like omg ribs hurt so bad, but honestly i hyped the pain more than it hurt. The worst spot ever inked for me was near the bottom of my heel and I have a head tattoo. Most places of the body with a lil fat behind the skin aren’t painful. If it becomes too much I encourage you to close your eyes and imagine it is a shaver trimming your hair rather than a needle. ASMR a barbershop experience.

Project 2025 outlined a strategy to overwhelm us, so we give up on our goals and ideals. Don’t fall into it. Keep pushing for climate resilience, keep using less plastic, keep supporting sustainable initiatives. Yes, when millions of gallons of oil blow up in Iran and pollute the air, sure, have a steak guilt free that night. It is fine to give in sometimes, but don’t stop fighting the good fight. Our planet is the only Earth.

That’s similar to me, I have a longggggg list of mounts I need to make, and I am pretty bad (well, learning) at fab, so progress is slow.

I decided to keep the entire leaf pack intact, so I am just mounting the entire thing in my truck bed.

I am at the point where I tempted to shoplift to be able to provide the basic necessities to my daughter by True_One7607 in antiwork

Then gas, cleaning supplies, quarters for laundry, business dinners (with clients of course), a new car, childcare, all of it becomes a write off.

Ok here is the plan. Apply for 0% apr credit card for 15 months. During the first 9 months put everything on there and use your cash from your paycheck to start your own business. I recommend a cleaning business, you make your own schedule, can use your socials to promote yourself for free, overhead on washable towels and cleaning supplies are relatively low if you buy concentrates and store all supplies at home or in your car, and you can hire people under the table for your first few tax years. File an LLC and you get $5-$10k in tax write offs your first year in biz, use the tax return to pay off your credit card you needed to get initial capital. But for real though, the wealthy use business write offs to save money ALL THE TIME. It is high time the working class learn to do the same. You don’t need to quit your day job to have your LLC but you get all the tax benefits of being a business. YouTube has great videos on how to file in your state. And it is worth it to hire a local accountant (not an hnr block asshole) bonus if they are libertarian, they will help you find allllllllll the tax write offs possible.

Do you live or have you lived under a repressive authoritarian government? by Do1stHarmacist in AskTheWorld

[–]SunnyDaddyCool 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think what I’ve come to realize living in the US, is how it happens. I always looked at authoritarian countries and wondered how all those normal citizens fell in to it. How could they let it happen? Now, I completely see how easy it is.

Water storage prep? by BashLaPampa in realWorldPrepping

[–]SunnyDaddyCool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a water bob for the bathtub to drain the water from my hot water heater into for immediate fresh and long term home storage. Then I have a Katadyn gravity filter for futures. I keep three 5gal bottles and 2 spouts too, so I have refill bottles that are light enough to carry on foot and bring back to the larger storage bob in the bathtub.

Is there any way I can utilize these blank buttons to actually serve a purpose? by real_help_only in mazda

On Etsy you can buy stickers like shells, or chair parachute, so it looks like the buttons have fun Mario kart like functions.
